Card Sunday # 10 - Floral Card 2

Ich habe mich noch an eine zweite Karte mit den Stempeln von Tim Holtz gemacht, da ich sie einfach klasse finde. Ich habe die Blüte auf Aquarellpapier mit VersaMark gestempelt und goldenes  Embossingpulver von WOW verwendet. Um einen schönen Aquarelleffekt zu bekommen, habe ich zunächst die Blüten mit Wasser befeuchtet und anschließend mit Distress Inks (Picked Rasberry, Mustard Seed und Spiced Marmalade) Farbverläufe erzielt. Die gleiche Vorgehensweise habe ich auch für das Banner angewandt. Auch hier habe ich Picked Rasberry verwendet und, nachdem es getrocknet war,  mit Wassertropfen bespränkelt. Das Sentiment "Herzlichen Glückwunsch" stammt von Create A Smile und wurde mit VersaMark gestempelt und weißem Embossingpulver embosst. 

Für den Hintergrund habe ich denselben Blütenstempel benutzt und ihn mit Ranger Dye Ink Pink Gumball auf weißen Karton gestempelt. Damit die Farbe nicht so grell ist, habe ich sie als erstes auf ein Schmierpapier gestempelt und danach auf den Hintergrund (second generation stamping). Die Blüten, den Banner und den Hintergrund habe ich mit Schaumklebeband befestigt.

I made another card using the flower stamps by Tim Holtz. They are just awesome. I stamped one of the flowers on to watercolor card stock using VersaMark and used gold embossing poweder by WOW. To create a nice watercolor effect, I went over the flowers with water to get them really wet and used a bit of Distress ink (Picked Rasberry, Mustard Seed, and Spiced Marmelade) to get these nice gradient colors. I used a similar technique with Picked Rasberry to make the banner. After it dried I used some water and sprinkled it on top. The German sentiment is from a stamp set by Create A Smile and means "Best Wishes". 

For the background, I used the same flower stamp and stamped it as second generation stamp with Ranger Dye Ink Pink Gumball on to white card stock. I adhered the flowers, the banner, and the background with double-sided adhesive to give the card a bit of dimension.
