Happy Chicken

Dieses mal wollte ich an einer Challenge von Make the Day Special teilnehmen. Und ich muss sagen, es war gar nicht so leicht ein Produkt zu finden, dass sie selbst verkaufen und mit den Farbskalen harmoniert. Daher wollte ich eher eine einfache Karte machen und ich finde das Küken von Paper Smooches einfach zum Knutschen. 

Auf weißem Karton habe ich mit Distress Inks (Picked Rasberry, Salty Ocean) meine Chevron Schablone verwendet und oberhalb des Musters das Sentiment "be happy" von Create A Smile mit Lemon Twist Dye Ink gestempelt. Die Enamel Dots, ebenso von CAS, haben farblich super mit der Farbe des Sentiments harmoniert. Das Panel habe ich dann mit Moosgummi auf einem etwas größeres Stück gelben Karton befestigt.

Auf weißem Karton habe ich mit Memento Tuxedo Black Ink das Küken von Paper Smooches gestempelt und mit Spektrum Noir Markern koloriert (CT3, CT4; OR1, OR2, OR3) und mit Foam Tape in die Mitte des Panels geklebt. 

I wanted to participate in the challenge by Make the Day Special and I have to say it was pretty difficult to find products that they sell and harmonize with the colored schemes. I wanted to make a simples card and I think the little chicken from Paper Smooches is just too sweet, so I used it in this card.

I used distress inks (Picked Rasberry, Salty Ocean) on white card stock using my designed Chevron stencil. Above the pattern, I stamped the sentiment "be happy" by Create A Smile with Lemon Twist Dye Ink. And because the enamels dots (also by CAS) matched the color of the ink perfectly, I also used some with the sentiment. I adhered the front panel using fun foam on a larger yellow panel.

On white cardstock, I stamped the little chicken with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored it with Spectrum Noir markers (CT3, CT4; OR1, OR2, OR3). Finally, I adhered the chicken in the center of the card using foam tape.
