Heute zeige ich euch eine Karte, durch die ich durch Laura Bassen inspiriert wurde. Den Link zur Karte findet ihr hier. Ich fand die Idee mit dem Distress-Hintergrund und der Sprechblase einfach so genial, dass ich eine ähliche Karte machen wollte.
Zunächst habe ich auf Aquarellpapier mit Cracked Pistachio Distress Ink und einem Blending Tool eine Fläche eingefärbt, wobei die Farbe nach oben hin auslaufen sollte. Darauf habe ich dann das Sentimen "Herzlichen Glückwunsch" von Create A Smile mit Archival Jet Black Ink gestempelt.
Die Sprechblase habe ich als SVG unter iconfinder.com gefunden. Angepasst an die Größe und Position des Sentiments habe ich sie dann aus einem Stück weißem Karton ausgeschnitten.
Auf das Frontpanel habe ich dann den kleinen Pandabären von Mama Elephant mit Memento Tuxedo Black Ink gestempelt, ebenso wie ein kleines Herz in Classic Cherry, auf welches dann noch Glossy Accents aufgetragen wurde. Um die Karte abzuschließen, habe ich das Frontpanel auf das Aquarellpanel mit Foamtape aufgeklebt und alles auf einer Kartenbasis befestigt.
For this card I was inspired by some work by Laura Bassen. You can find the link to her card here. I thought the idea of a speech bubble combined with some Distress Inks is just perfect and I wanted to create my own card.
First,
I applied Cracked Pistachio Distress Ink with the help of a blending
tool to watercolor cardstock. I tried to let it fade out to the top of
the card. Then, I stamped the sentiment "Herzlichen Glückwunsch"
(congratulations) with Archival Jet Black Ink on top of the distressed
area.
I found the speech bubble SVG at iconfinder.com and, adjusted to size and position, cut it out of some white cardstock.
On
the front panel, I stamped the little panda bear from Mama Elephant
with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink as well as a little heart in Classic
Cherry. Later I also applied some Glossy Accents to it. To finish off
the card, I adhered the front panel to the watercolor cardstock piece
and then to a card base.
