A few days ago the new stamp sets by Create A Smile arrived at my door and I really wanted to show you this card that I made wit hthe set "Time to say thanks" and an older set called "Magic Flowers". I stamped the flowers and leaves with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored them with Spectrum Noir markers (flower: blender, FS6, BP7 + CT1, CT3; three leaves: combination of CT3, CG3, CG2, DG2, LG5, JG1; leave that looks like a fan: CG2, CG2, DG4; long leave: LG5, JG1, JG2, JG6). I used post-it notes to create mask so I could layer the images. I pressed my VersaMark Inkpad on some white scrap paper and embossed a strip with gold embossing powder by wow that I wanted to use with the leaves and flowers.
On my white cardbase, I stamped the sentiment "Happy Birthday" using a set by WPlus9 and Altanew, again, with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. To finish off the card, I then cut the paper that I stamped my images on at a slight angle and adhered it with fun foam at the top of the card base including the golden strip that I created earlier.

This is such a unique card! I've never seen a pattern done at the top like that with the diagonal line! It is so totally creative! I really love how this has such energy and combines a bold pattern with a smooth background. Well done and I'm so glad you shared your talents with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
