Then I cut a frame using white cardstock and the largest rectangle from the Avery Elle Double Pierced Rectangle set to create a frame with a nice and finished pierced border. It's the first time that I used them on a card and I just loooove my new dies and the Big Shot (how could I manage so lang without them?). To create the shake window I used a simple sheet protector and the fuse tool to trim it in place.
For the background of the shaker window I used the double pierced rectangle again on Canson Mixed Media cardstock but this time I used the inner part. Using Tumbled Glass and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink and a blending tool, I tried to blend these colors together as best as I could - getting lighter at the top. After the ink was dry I could slight the panel into my shaker pocket and fill it up with white beads, 4mm marshmallow and sparkling clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh as well as some iridescent hearts that I had lying around. Again using the fuse tool I closed up the shaker pocket.
To assemble the card I adhered the shaker poket to the frame and then everything to a white card base. I still wanted to use a sentiment and what would be better than this large scripty "love" from the This must be love stamp set from CAS. I stamped it with Memento Danube Blue ink on white cardstock and cut it out with my Scan'N'Cut. On a piece of dark blue cardstock I stamped the rest of the sentiment "you with all my hear" with VersaMark ink and embossed it with white embossing powder.
For a few embellishments I stamped the cute hearts from the Lovely Critters set with Memento Danube Blue and Bahama Blue ink.
Wollte gerade sagen, dass du die unbedingt auch für den Guest Designer Call einsenden sollst ;-) Viel Glück!
