Auch für diese Karte habe ich eine Schnittdatei erstellt. Dieses mal habe ich die Abkürzung xoxo für hugs and kisses (engl. Umarmungen und Küsse) verwendet und auch hier rotes Perlmuttpapier als Hintergrund verwendet.
Auf den Herzen und der Herzsprechblase habe ich Glossy Accent verwendet.

Ich habe schon lange nach einem kleinen Portemonnaie gesucht, dass man z.B. ins Schwimmbad mitnehmen kann. Kurz vor Weihnachten kam dann das Schnittmuster und Anleitung für die Miss Mini Money von kleine kleinigkeiten heraus.
Es ist wirklich schnell genäht und man benötigt nicht viel Material. Also super, um seine Reste zu verbrauchen.

I was looking for a small purse for a long time, e.g. to take with you to the swimming pool. Shortly before Christmas kleine kleinigkeiten postet a pattern and instructions for the Miss Mini Money. It's really doesn't take long to sew and it's great for using scaps of fabric. 

Diese Karte habe ich an meinen Freund geschickt. Eigentlich passt das Herbstthema gerade nicht, aber ich fand den Hintergrund so schön und ich dachte mir, er harmoniert sehr gut mit dem Waschbären.

Für eine Freundin, die vor kurzem ein Baby bekommen habe, habe ich diesen Pulli gehäkelt. Das Schnittmuster kann man hier kostenlos herunterladen. Ich habe die Krone nicht mit verwendet, da ich sie zu kitschig fand.

I crocheted a byby pullover for a friend of mine that had a baby a few days ago. You can download the free patttern here. I didn't include the crown because I didn't like it. 




 

Meine Mama hat zu Weihnachten die Handtasche Schnabelina bekommen. Da sie als Muster rot mit weißen Punkten mag, habe ich versucht, einen solchen Stoff auch zu verarbeiten.

I sewed the Schnabelina bag for my mom for Christmas. She really likes the white polka dots pattern on red background so I tried to include a fabric covering the pattern.

Zu Weihnachten habe ich ein neues Amigurumi in Form von Wolverine nach dem Originalcomic gehäkelt. Die Anleitung kann man sich hier für 6 Dollar kaufen.

I made some Christmas Cards that I wanted to show here. 

Ich habe für meine Kollegen zu Nikolaus kleine Tüten gebastelt und ein paar kleine Süßigkeiten hinein getan. Die kostenlose Schnittdatei für die Tüten kann man hier herunterladen.
Ich habe die Tüten aus grünem und blauem Papier ausgeschnitten. Vorweg habe ich kleine Figuren gestempelt und ausgeschnitten und mit 3D Klebepunkten auf die Tüte geklebt. Verschlossen habe ich die Tüten mit Geschenkband verschlossen und Glückwünsche mit VersaMark gestempelt und mit WOW! Embossingpulver embosst und anschließend an die Tüte gebunden.

 I made some gift bags for my colleagues for St. Nicholas Day. I used this free cutting file. I've cut the bags out of green and blue paper. I stamped a few critters and used 3D pads to adhere them to the bags. The bags were closed with ribbon and  included embossed (with WOW! embossing powder) sentiments.

Für eine Freundin habe ich zu Weihnachten dieses Memoboard gebastelt. Ich habe ein dünnes Brett in der Größe 40x40 zuschneiden lassen, mit Wattierung gepolstert und anschließend mit Stoff von Buttinette überzogen.
Abschließend habe ich blaues Satinband zugeschnitten und in regelmäßigen Abständen über den Stoff gelegt und mit Verziernägeln befestigt.

I've made this memoboard for a friend for Christmas. I used a 40x40 board, stuffed it with wadding and covered it with fabric. Later I used blue satin ribbon and attached it to the board with nails.

Zum Abschied für meinen Freund habe ich diese Karte gebastelt. Sie war die erste Karte, die ich mit meinem Schneideplotter ausprobiert habe. Hinter das geschnittene Muster habe ich noch schwarzen Karton zur Hervorhebung geklebt. Die Schnittdatei (SVG) kann man hier herunterladen.

This card is the first one I created after I got my cutter and made it for my boyfriend. I glued black card stock behind the pattern to hightlight the words. You can download the cutting file (SVG) here.

Heute zeige ich eine weitere Schablone, die man gut als Schnee verwenden kann. Sie ist ähnlich zur Sternenschablone, dieses mal habe ich jedoch Kreise in verschiedenen Größen verwendet.  Die Schablone wurde im A5 Format erstellt.

Today I am going to show you a new stencil that I made with my cutting machine. It is similar to the star stencil but this time I used circles in different sizes. The size of the stencil is (5.8 x 8.3 in).

Auch hier habe ich drei (eher gleiche) Karten gebastelt. Ich habe Embossingpaste verwendet, um den Hintergrund zu erzeugen. Später habe ich auch weißem Karton Schneehügel ausgeschnitten und sie aufeinander gelegt, um ein Gefühl von Tiefe zu erzeugen.
Die Tierchen stammen von dem Stempelset Critters in the Forest von Lawn Fawn. Ich habe sie mit meinen neuen Spectrum Noir-Markern ausgemalt und ich finde, dass sie für's erste mal sehr gut gelungen sind. Ich habe 3D-Klebepads verwendet, um sie auf die Schneehügel zu kleben.
Abschließend habe ich Pergamentpapier verwendet, um einen Weihnachtsspruch (Schneeflöckchen Weissröckchen. Wann kommst du geschneit?) zu embossen. Dieser stammt von dem Set Schöne Bescherung von Create a Smile. Zum Embossen habe ich Metallic Silver Embossingpulver von WOW! verwendet.

I've also created three (rather similar) cards with the snow background. I used embossing paste to create the background on blue cardstock. Later, I cut snow drifts from white cardstock and layered them on top of each other to create some kind of dimension.
Furthermore, I stamped some critters from the Critters in the Forest stamp set from Lawn Fawn.  I colored them using my new Spectrum Noir markers. It's the first time I used alcohol markers and I was pretty pleased with the outcome. I used foam squares to place them onto the snow drifts.
And lastly, I used a small strip of vellum to include my sentiment Schneeflöckchen, Weissröckchen. Wann kommst du geschneit  (Part of a German Christmas Carol, German for: Little Snowflake, Little White Skirt, When will you snow ?) from the stamp set Schöne Bescherung from Create a Smile and embossed it with Metallic Silver embossing powder from WOW! and glued it onto my background.

Vor einiger Zeit habe ich versucht mir eigene Schablonen herzustellen. Ich habe Mylar Schablonenmaterial benutzt und mir ein entsprechendes Schnittmuster in der Größe A5 erstellt (siehe Bild unten). Ich habe die Schablone mit Embossingpaste ausprobiert und sie funktioniert für mich perfekt. Bei einem weiteren Versuch habe ich Gold Satin Pearl Embossing Pulver von WOW! auf die noch feuchte Embossingpaste aufgetragen und nach kurzem Trocknen mit dem Heizfön erhitzt.

A view days ago I tried to make my own stencil. I used Mylar stencil material and create a cutting file (5.8 x 8.3 in). I used the stencil with embossing paste and it works great for me. I also used Gold Satin Pearl embossing powder from WOW! on another try and I think it looks just great!

Ich habe auch noch drei Karten aus den Testversuchen hergestellt. Die Figuren gehören zu dem Stempelset Cool Buddies von Create a Smile. Die Sprüche, die ich embosst habe, sind von den folgenden Stempelsets von Lawn Fawn: Joy to the woods und Winter Penguin.

Für diese Karte wurde ich durch einen Post von www.birdscards.com inspiriert. Dort wurde eine Shaker Card als Geburtstagskarte für die Mutter der Autorin präsentiert. Da ich gerade eine Karte für eine Freundin basteln wollte, dachte ich mir, dass ich das Prinzip verwenden könnte, um meine eigene Shaker Card zu machen.
Der Unterschied zu "normalen" Shaker Cards ist der, dass kein Moosgummi oder Ähnliches verwendet wird, um den Raum zwischen Karte und Klarsichtfolie zu erzeugen, sondern mehrere Lagen an Papier.  Je nachdem wie dick der Karton ist, den ihr verwendet, könnt ihr unterschiedliche Anzahlen an Lagen verwenden. Eine weitere Besonderheit ist, dass mehrere "Fächer" für die Shaker Card erzeugt werden.

Für die Karte benötigt man zunächst einen Umriss des Schriftzuges Happy, der sowohl für die Klarsichtfolie als auch den Hintergrund verwendet wird (letzteres ist optional). Weiterhin werden dann mehrere Kartonstücke des Schriftzuges benötigt. Ich habe 6 Lagen an weißem Karton (300 g/m2) verwendet plus die oberste rote Kartonschicht.
Klebt alle Stapellagen aufeinander und lasst sie gut trocknen. Die Folie wird direkt auf den obersten (hier roten) Schriftzug geklebt. Der Hintergrund kommt unter die Lage des Papierstapels. Nun kann der Schriftzug befüllt werden. Ich habe sowohl Glitter als auch Luftballon-Konfetti verwendet. Schlussendlich kann die oberste Schicht inklusive Folie auf den Stapel geklebt werden.

Wie man sehen kann, wollte ich auch noch Birthday mit dem Plotter in die Karte schreiben. Leider habe ich nicht beachtet, dass die Innenteile der Buchstaben b, d und a auch herausgeschnitten werden. Das werde ich beim nächsten mal ändern. Zum Glück kann man jedoch immer noch erkennen, was es bedeuten soll.

For this card I got inspired by a post from www.birdscards.com. They featured a shaker card for the mother of the blogger. As I wanted to make a card for a friend of mine, I wanted to use the same principal but with a different sentiment. 
The difference to "normal" shaker cards is that you don't use any foam tape or the like but paper. Depending on how thick you paper is you have to more or less layers of paper. Another feature is that the sequins will never get mixed together as each letter creates its own space. 

For the card I used the outline of the word Happy and cut acetate and a background from it (the latter is optional). I also used 6 paper layers of white cardboard (300g/m2) as well as a red layer of the boarder of the word "Happy".  
I glued all white layers together and let them dry. I also sticked the acetate to the red layer, as well as the background to the white layers. After they have dried you can add sequence. I used glitter as well as balloon sequence. Finally, glue the red layer incl. acetate to the white layer. 

As you can see, I also wanted to include the word Birthday with my card. Unfortunately, I didn't keep in mind that the insides of the letters b, d and a will be cut out as well. I will change that the next time I do this card.
