Card Sunday # 11 - Underwater Shaker Card

Ich wollte unbedingt das neue Stempelset "Underwater Love" von Create A Smile ausprobieren und eine Shaker Card im Unterwasserthema kreieren.  Für den Hintergrund der Shakercard habe ich Aquarellpaper, Distress inks (Peacock Feather, Salty Ocean) und die passenden Blending Tools verwendet, um die Farben gleichmäßig auf das Paper auftragen zu können. Separat habe ich den Tintenfisch, die zwei Fische und etwas Gras von dem Stempelset "Gleeful Garden" von Lawn Fawn gestempelt und mit Spectrum Noir Markern ausgemalt. Für den Tintenfisch habe ich GB10, GB8, EB2 und EB1 verwendet, für die zwei Fische OR3, OR2 und OR1 und für das Gras DG3 und DG2. Die Fische und das Gras wurden auf dem Arquarellhintergrund geklebt und Luftblasen mit Blue Ribbon Dye Ink von Ranger zusätzlich aufgestempelt (Teil des Sets von CAS).
Für das äußere Panel habe ich weißen Karton benutzt und ein rechteckiges Fenster ausgeschnitten sowie ein passendes Stück Folie dahinter geklebt. Auf die Vorderseite des Panels habe ich das Sentiment "You're a great catch" mit Blue Ribbon Dye ink gestempelt. Um es ein wenig zu strecken, habe ich noch die gefüllten Luftblasen aus dem Set verwendet und an die Seiten gestempelt. Der Tintenfisch wurde dann mit Schaumklebeband auf die linke Seite geklebt. Auf der Rückseite habe ich weiteres Schaumklebeband angebracht, um die benötigte Höhe für die Shakercard zu erreichen. Als Füllung habe ich kleine blaue und klare Glasperlen verwendet und den Hintergrund auf das vordere Panel aufgebracht.
Um den Hintergrund noch etwas hervorzuheben, habe ich diesen mit den verschiedenen Luftblasen und der gleichen blauen Farbe verziert. Mit Schaumklebeband wurde dann das gesamte Panel auf die Kartenfront aufgebracht.




I really wanted to try out the new stamp set "Underwater Love" by Create A Smile and wanted to create an underwater-themed shaker card. To create the background of my shaker card, I used watercolor card stock, distress inks (Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean) and blending tools to put the distress inks onto the card stock. Separately, I stamped the octopus and the two fishes. To get create the underwater scene I also used some grass stamps by Lawn Fawn from the stamp set "Gleeful Garden". To color the images I used OR3, OR2, and OR1 for the fishes, GB10, GB8, EB2, and EB1 for the octopus, and DG3, DG2 for the grass. I glued the fishes and the grass onto the watercolor card stock and stamped some air bubbles in Blue Ribbon Dye Ink by Ranger (they are also part of the CAS stamp set).
For the outside panel I used some more white card stock, cut out a rectangle for the window, and glued acetate behind the window. On top of the panel I stamped the sentiment "You're a great catch" with Blue Ribbon Dye ink and used some more (filled) air bubbles in the effort to stretch the sentiment. On the left side, I glued the little octopus using double-sided tape. On the back of the white panel, I used more double-sided tape, put blue and clear beads inside the window and adhered the background onto the front panel. 
I also wanted to create a background, therefore I used the different kinds of air bubbles in the same blue dye ink. Using foam adhesive I adhered the whole panel on the card front.
