Flower Greetings

Heute habe ich wieder eine Karte mit der beliebten Blüte von Create A Smile gemacht. Ich wollte etwas Neues mit den Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens ausprobieren. Als erstes habe ich die Blüte mit Archival Jet Black auf Aquarellpapier gestempelt und mit den Stiften koloriert (52, 70, 23). Danach habe ich die Blüte mit einem Mini Mister mit Wasser besprüht, um einen Aquarellfarbeneffekt zu erzeugen. Das hat auch ganz gut funktioniert, aber mir hat die Blüte nicht mehr so gut gefallen, da die Farben zu stark ineinander verlaufen sind. Daher habe ich das Ganze dann noch einmal koloriert, ich mochte jedoch den verlaufenen Hintergrund. 
Die Blüte habe ich dann in Kreisform ausgeschnitten und mit Moosgummi auf ein orangenes Panel geklebt. Das Sentiment stammt von Mama Elephant und wurde mit einem gelben Embossinpulver von WOW embosst. Anschließend habe ich das Panel auf eine Kartenbasis geklebt. 


Today I did another card with the popular flower from Create A Smile. I wanted to try something new with the Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens. First, I stamped the flower with Archival Jet Black ink on watercolor carstock and colored it with the pens (52, 70, 23). Then, I spayed the flower with my Mini Mister to create a watercolor look. But I didn't like the result because the colors blended a bit too well for my liking. That's why I colored the whole flower again and I liked to look with the watercolor background behind the flower. 
I cut out the flower in a circle shape and adhered it on an orange panel using fun foam. The sentiment is from Mama Elephant and was embossed with yellow embossing powder from WOW. To finish the card I adhered the orange panel on a white card base.
