Christmas Card in a Box
Welcome back! This time I want to share this box card with you! I've seen some people creating box cards on Instagram and you know me, I have to try it myself when I find something amazing. So I found a tutorial on YouTube that I used as a reference but it's actually quite simply to create this box card.
After essembling to box I decorated the outside of my box with Lawn Fawn products. I thought this tree border from the "Snow Day" set looked just so cute and was perfect for this! I stamped it with Memento Cottage Ivy on some white card stock that was cut into place so it was slightly smaller than the side of the box. The flying santa and reindeers is from the "Ready, Set, Snow" set and was stamped with Soft Granite Shadow Ink.
The images are from My Favorite Things, Create A Smile, and Mama Elephant. I stamped them with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Neenah solar white cards stock and colored them with Spectrum Noir markers. I also wanted to include a sentiment in my box and chose the beautiful "Merry Christmas" from Mama Elephant. I stamped it with VersaMark on white cardstock and embossed it with red embossing powder by WOW.
When I was ready to fill my box, I cut small strips of acetate and attached it both to my images and to strips of red cardstock that were glued in the inside of the box. This way, the images still have enough room to wiggle a little bit around which I think is really nice. If you don't want that you could attached the images directly to the cardstock strips inside the box.
