Warmest Wishes
Hi everyone, today I wanted to show you this shaker card that I made with images from the "Winter Cheer" stamp set by Craftin Desert Divas. I went a little overboard with the sequins but this way the recipient has to work the shaker card to reveal the complete image ;)
I started off die cutting the shaker card panel from white card stock using the largest scalloped die from the "Francy Frame" die set. I then cut the largest "Scribbled Circle" die from the panel and again from red card stock. Using red ink, I stamped the sentiment "Warmest Wishes" directly under the window. I also cut a piece of white card stock and that was a bit larger than the shaker pocket and die cut a snowy hill with a piece from the "Shake It Up" die set. Unfortunately, you can't really see it on the pictures.
Then I cut a large enough piece of acetate and adhered it behind the window which also gave me the possibility to adhere the red scribbled circle to the outside of the window. Using foam tape I created the actual window that can hold the sequins and adhered the snowy hill into place on a silver card base.
I stamped the image on mix media card stock and colored it in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and also adhered it to the inside of the shaker card. All that was left to do was to fill it up with Fairy Dust sequins (please be careful and don't overfill like I did). For a finishing touch, I adhered the little star from the set to the left of the sentiment.
I hope you liked this shaker card. Have an amazing day and see you next time!

Late Christmas Card
Hi everyone, I am back with another card for you. I know, Christmas is over and I hope you had a wonderful time! But I still wanted to show you this card that I made using the adorable lemurs from the set "Snow Days" as well as die cuts from the "Outdoor Landscape 2" die set from Craftin Desert Divas.
I started off with a piece of mix media card stock and applied some light orange ink to it to create a snowy sunset background. Then, I die cut the card stock using the largest scalloped die from the "Fancy Frames" die set. I also die cut the same piece from white card stock and used the grassy die to create some kind of snowy grass ground.
I wanted to keep the background simple so I also die cut the fence from white card stock which creates a nice but subtle contrast to the background panel. I stamped the images on mix media card stock and colored them in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers because I really like the effect they give.
To assemble my card I used a Kraft card base and adhered the background panel, the fence and the grassy field to it. Using black ink, I stamped the sentiment "Merry Christmas" from the "Santa's Helpers" stamp set on the background piece. And using 3D foam squares I also adhered the lemurs and the snowman into place.
Thank you very much for stopping by! I hope you have an amazing day and see you next time!

Sending Hugs
Hello everyone and happy New Year! I have a quick and easy card for you today. Since it is still cold outside and at least here it's supposed to get really cold in the next couple of days, I created this snowy card scene using the cute lemur from the "Snow Day" stamp set.
I started off stamping the image on mixed media card stock and coloring him in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens. For my background I used an embossing powder that created tiny dots that look like snow. I simply embossed the front part of my card base.
I also wanted to create a bold sentiment with a high contrast so I die cut a flag banner from black card stock using one of the bigger flag banner dies and white embossed the sentiment "Sending hugs" using stamps from the "Wishful Thoughts" stamp set. I adhered the flag banner with foam tape to the card base and mounted the lemur to the upper right corner of the flag banner.
I hope you enjoyed this quick card as much as I did. Have a great day!
