MFT Christmas Card #2
And it follows the second Christmas card. Again, I stamped santa on Neenah cardstock with Memento
Tuxedo Black ink and colored them in with Spectrum Noir markers
(hat/coat: CR10, DR2, DR5; white parts of hat: sparkling snow embossing
powder; face: FS2, FS3, FS6; belt: IG6, IG8; CT1; boots/gloves: IG6,
IG8; pants: IG4, IG6; paper: IG1, IG2, blender; beard: IG1, IG2, IG4,
blender).
I used snowflake SVG files from Miss Kate Cuttables and cut them out of silver cardstock and vellum. I adhered the snowfalkes with liquid glue to a shimmery red background panel and adhered santa with foam tape.

MFT Christmas Card #1
Today I want to share the first Christmas card that I made this year. Actually feels a bit weird making Christmas cards when it's not yet cold outside. But well, I got in the mood :)
I stamped santa and the little presents on Neenah cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them in with Spectrum Noir markers (hat/coat: CR10, DR2, DR5; white parts of hat: sparkling snow embossing powder; face: FS2, FS3, FS6; belt: IG6, IG8; CT1; boots/gloves: IG6, IG8; pants: IG4, IG6; paper: IG1, IG2, blender; beard: IG1, IG2, IG4, blender; presents: CR10; DR2, DR5 + GT2, GT3 + CT1, CT3).
Using dark green cardstock, I used snowflakes stamps from Some Odd Girl and Lawn Fawn and stamped them with VersaMark ink and embossed them with white embossing powder. The sentiment "Wunderschöne Weihnachtszeit" means "Wonderful Christmas Season" and was stamped with Classic Cherry Ink on some white cardstock that was cut into a smaller strip with a fish tail.
Using foam tape, the background panel was adhered to the white card front and the sentiment as well as the images where placed on the left side of the panel.

Parting Gift with the Fuse Tool
Because my boyfriends is leaving for the second time for England I decided I wanted to put the Fuse Tool to a good use and create a parting gift for him. I know it's cheesy but, well, love can be cheesy :)

Using clear film, I created a 13x18 (5"x7") pocket to go into the picture frame. Witt the Fuse Tool I was able to create smaller pockets for my little pictures and heart sequins. I started from the bottom and closed all sides so nothing can fall out. To include a little sentiment, I also cut out the word "love" out of red cardstock using my cutting machine.

Wedding Tag
Heute zeige ich euch ein Tag, das ich für das Hochzeitsgeschenk von Freunden gemacht habe. Dafür habe ich das Fuse Tool von We R Memory Keepers verwendet und zunächst eine Shaker Pocket aus einer einfachen Klarsichthülle erstellt, indem ich drei Seiten verschlossen habe. Somit konnte ich meine Sequins (rote und klare Herzen) einfüllen und dann die letzte Seite verschließen. Mit meinem Schneideplotter habe ich dann zwei Rahmen in Form von Tags ausgeschnitten und konnte so die Shaker Pocket mit starkem Kleber zwischen diesen befestigen.
Auf weißem Karton habe ich mit Archival Jet Black das Vogelpaar von Lawn Fawn gestempelt und mit ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens koloriert (linker Vogel: 36, rechter Vogel: 81, Schnabel: 52, Blume: 50). Auf einem Rest weißen Karton habe ich das Sentiment mit VersaMark gestempelt und mit rotem Embossingpulver embosst und anschließend, zurechtgeschnitten, auf dem Tag platziert.

I closed three sides with the tool and filled the pocket with sequins (red and clear hearts) and then closed the fourth side. Using my cutting machine I cut two frames in form of a tag and adhered the shaker pocket in between the two die cuts with strong adhesive.
Using Archival Jet Black Ink, i stamped the two birds from Lawn Fawn and colored them in with the Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens (left bird: 36, right bird: 81, beak: 52, flower: 50). Using a leftover piece of white cardstock, I stamped the sentiment with VersaMark and embossed it with red embossing powder. After cutting it accordingly, I adhered it on the front side of the tag.

Golden Flowers
In der Form der heutigen Karte habe ich mich durch Jennifer McGuire inspirieren lassen. Sie ist wirklich eine talentiere Frau, die sehr viel Liebe in ihre Arbeit steckt.
Für den unteren Teil der Karte habe ich Aquarellpapier verwendet und dieses mit einem Blütenstempel von Tim Holtz mit VersaMark bestempelt und mit goldenem Embossingpulver embosst. Um die Blüten vor weiterem Stempeln zu schützen, habe ich Masken aus Post-its verwendet. Anschließend habe ich das Papier in eine Mischung verschiedener Distress Inks (Dried Marigold, Spiced Marmelade, Abandoned Coral) gedrückt, welche mit Wasser verdünnt waren. Danach habe ich es schräg abgeschnitten und auf eine Kartenbasis geklebt.
Für das Sentiment habe ich einen Streifen schwarzen Karton verwendet. Das Sentiment von Mama Elephant wurde dann mit weißem Embossingpulver embosst und der Streifen oberhalb des Blütenstücks befestigt. Abschließend habe ich noch einen weiteren kleineren, goldenen Streifen erstellt, indem ich VersaMark auf einem Stück Papier verwendet und anschließend mit dem gleichen goldenem Embossinpulver embosst habe. Das Ganze wurde dann nur noch zugeschnitten und befestigt.
The layout of today's card was inspired by Jennifer McGuire. She really is a great and talented person who puts a lot of effort and love in her work.
I used watercolor cardstock for
the bottom part of the card and stamped a flower stamp several times
with VersaMark and embossed it with gold embossing powder. To avoid
stamping overlapping the images I created a mask out of post-it tape.
Then, I pressed the watercolor cardstock in to a mix of Distress Inks
(Dired Marigold, Spiced Marmelade, Abandoned Coral). After cutting it at
an angle, I adhered it to a card base.
I used a strip of black cardstock to emboss a sentiment from Mama Elephant with white embossing powder and also adhered it above the floral piece. To finish the card, I created my own golden paper using the same gold embossing powder, cut it into a thing strip, and adhere it to the card.
