I used a strip of black cardstock to emboss a sentiment from Mama Elephant with white embossing powder and also adhered it above the floral piece. To finish the card, I created my own golden paper using the same gold embossing powder, cut it into a thing strip, and adhere it to the card.

Heute möchte ich euch zwei Karten zeigen. Ich habe vor kurzem die Cityscapes Stempel von Tim Holtz bekommen, die ich schon lange im Auge hatte. Und ich fand sie in Kombination mit den Gnomen von My Favorite Things einfach zu toll.
Zunächst habe ich die Stadtkulissen von London und Paris mit Archival Jet Black Ink gestempelt auf Aquarellpapier gestempelt und anschließend mit dem Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pen 36 um die Stadt herum koloriert und mit Wasser ausgeblendet. Dann habe ich einen Gnom ebenfalls mit Archival Ink auf Aquarellpapier gestempelt und mit den Real Brush Pens koloriert (Hut: 20, 29; Hose: 34; 38; Gesicht: 71, 64, 28; Schuhe: 10; Shirt: 51, 50 bzw. 47, 44; Bart: 91, 94, 95). Nachdem ich ihn ausgeschnitten habe, habe ich noch mit einem schwarzen Stift die Ränder koloriert.
Das verwendete Sentiment stammt von Mama Elephant, welches mit VersaMark und rotem Embossinpulver von WOW embosst wurde. Der Gnome wurde dann noch mit Foamtape vor der Kulisse platziert.
Um dem Ganzen noch etwas Kontrast zu geben, habe ich ein weiteres rotes Panel zugeschnitten und auf der Kartenbasis befestigt. Das Frontpanel wurde dann etwas versetzt aufgeklebt.


Today I want to show you two cards. Recently, I got the cityscapes rubber stamp set from Tim Holtz that I wanted for a long time now. And I really loved to combine them with the gnomes from My Favorite Things.
First, I stamped the cityscapes of London and Paris on watercolor cardstock usin Archival Jet Black Ink. To hightlight the cityscapes, I used the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens 36 and blended it with water. The, I stamped one of the gnomes - also on watercolor cardstock with the Archival Ink and  colored him with the Real Brush Pens (hat: 20, 29; trousers: 34; 38; face: 71, 64, 28; boots: 10; shirt: 51, 50 or 47, 44; beard: 91, 94, 95). After I cut him out, I used a black pen to color the borders of the die cut. 
The sentiment I used is from Mama Elephant and I embossed it using VersaMark and red embossing powder by WOW. The Gnome was adhered with foamtape.
To create a bit more contrast, I also cut a red panel that I adhered directly to the card base. The front panel was then placed a bit skewed on top of it. 

Heute habe ich eine einfache Karte gemacht. Ich finde den Fuchs von C.C.Designs einfach zu niedlich mit dem kleinen Schmetterling auf der Nase. Ich habe ihn mit Archival Jet Black Ink auf Aquarellpapier gestempelt und anschließend mit Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens koloriert (Fell: 52, 20; Ohren: 26, 28 ; weißes Fell: 91; Schmetterling: 31, 37). Das Sentiment stammt von Tim Holtz und wurde mit Cheese Puff Dye Ink unterhalb des Fuchses gestempelt.
Abschließend wurde das weiße Frontpanel auf ein etwas größeres oranges Panel geklebt und dann auf eine Karte geklebt.


Today I wanted to show you this clean and simple card. I adore this little fox with the butterfly on its nose. I stampet him with Archival Jet Black ink on watercolor carstock and colored him with Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens (fur: 52, 20; ears: 26, 28 ; white fur: 91; butterfly: 31, 37). The sentiment is from a stamp set by Tim Holtz and was stamped below the fox with Cheese Puff Dye Ink. 
To finish the card, I adhered the front panel to a slightly larger orange one and adhered everything to a card base.

Heute habe ich diese Karte gemacht und mir gefällt der Kontrast zwischen dem knalligen Hintergrund und den schwarzen Blüten. Zunächst habe ich mit Distress Ink (Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmelade, Fired Brick) auf Aquarellpapier einen Hintergrund erzeugt, indem ich die einzelnen Farben zusammengeblendet habe. Anschließend habe ich mit Memento Tuxedo Black Ink den floralen Hintergrundstempel von Tim Holtz auf den Hintergrund gestempelt. Das Sentiment stammt ebenfalls aus diesem Set, wurde jedoch mit Versacolor Pigment Ink gestempelt und anschließend mit klarem Embossingpulver embosst.
Abschließend habe ich das Frontpanel noch auf ein etwas größeres schwarzes Panel geklebt und anschließend auf der Karte befestigt.

I really like today's card and the contrast between the colorful background and the black flowers. At first, I used Distress Inks (Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmelade, Fired Brick) on watercolor cardstock and blenden them together. Then, I stamped the floral background from Tim Holtz with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. The sentiment is from the same stamp set and was stamped with the Versacolor Pigment Ink and embossed with clear embossing powder.
To finish the card, I adhered the front panel on a larger black panel and glued everything to a card base.

Dieses mal eine wirklich einfache und schnelle Karte. Auf weißes Papier habe ich mit Blue Ribbon Dye Ink den Hintergrundstempel von Tim Holtz stempelt und  Classic Cherry Ink habe ich das ein passendes Sentiment, hier "Hello Friend", auf die noch weiße Stelle gestempelt.
Das Frontpanel habe ich mit Moosgummi auf etwas größeren dunkelblauen Karton befestigt und abschließend meine selbstgemachten Enamel Dots verwendet. Die Farben passen wirklich perfekt zu den Stempelfarben.

Today I show you a quick and simple card. On white card stock I stamped the background stamp by Tim Holtz using Blue Ribbon Dye Ink and used a suitable sentiment, here "hello friend", and stamped it with Classic Cherry Ink.
Using fun foam, I adhered the front panel to a larger dark blue panel to give it some dimension. Then, I used some of my DIY enamel dots - the colors match perfectly. 

Natürlich darf zum Muttertag eine Karte nicht fehlen. Für diese hier habe ich hell- und dunkelgrauen Karton verwendet. Auf den hellgrauen Karton habe ich mit Classical Cherry Dye Ink von Ranger einen Hintergrundstempel von Tim Holtz verwendet.
Separat habe ich auf Aquarellpapier eine weitere Blüte aus einem Bluemenset, ebenfalls von Tim Holtz, mit Versamark gestempelt und diese mit roten Embossingpulver von WOW embosst. Als Wasserfarben habe ich "Aged Mahagony" und "Fired Brick" Distress Inks verwendet. Die Blüten habe ich mit Glue Dots in der linken, unteren Ecke befestigt.
Mit meinem Schneideplotter Brother Scan'N'Cut habe ich das Sentiment "Alles Liebe, Mama" aus rotem Karton ausgeschnitten und auf die Karte geklebt. Das hellgraue Panel habe ich mit Schaumklebeband anschließend auf den dunkelgrauen Hintergrund befestigt.
 



Of course your mom needs a card for Mother's Day! For this one I used light and dark gray card stock. I stamped a dotted background stamp by Tim Holtz on the light gray card stock using Classic Cherry Dye Ink by Ranger. 
Separately, I stamped a flower of another stamp set by Tim Holtz onto watercolor card stock with VersaMark ink and embossed it with red embossing poweder by WOW. To color in the flowers I used "Aged Mahagony" and "Fired Brick" Distress Inks. I adhered the flowers using glue dots to the bottom left corner. 
Using my Brothder Scan'N'Cut, I cut out the sentiment "Alles Liebe, Mama" which means "Best wishes, mom" and adhered it on top of the dotted background. Then, I glued the front panel to the dark grey card stock.
