Vor ein paar Tagen habe ich von Birka einen Brief mit Materialien bekommen, aus denen ich eine Karte machen sollte. Den Inhalt könnt ihr hier sehen.


Und hier könnt ihr nun mein Ergebnis sehen. Ich habe immer noch genug Material für eine zweite Karte, wollte euch aber unbedingt gleich die erste zeigen. Ich habe die Motive mit Spectrum Noir Markern koloriert (Giraffe: CT1, CT3, CT4 + GB8, GB10 + TN7, TN8; Nilpferd: BGR3, IG6, IG8 + CR7, DR2; Blätter: DG2, CG2) und mit meinem Plotter ausgeschnitten.
Für den Hintergrund habe ich Distress Inks verwendet (Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio, Pine Needles). Diese habe ich auf eine Folie gedrückt, mit Wasser bespritzt und anschließend das Aquarellpapier hineingedrückt (Ditschtechnik ahoi!). Anschließend habe ich dieses Panel mit Moosgummi auf einem etwas größerem schwarzen Panel befestigt. Die Blätter wurden an den Ecken fixiert und die Giraffe und das Nilpferd mit Foam Tape auf das Frontpanel geklebt. Zum Glück hat Birka auch Sentiments mitgeschickt. Eines davon habe ich dann in Form einer Sprechblase ausgeschnitten und ebenfalls mit Foam Tape befestigt. Abschließend habe ich noch ein paar von den grünen Sequins befestigt, die mit im Brief waren.


A few days ago I got a letter from Birka with a lot of goodies that I had to make a card from. The first picture shows all of the materials. And here you can see my finished card. I colored the images with Spectrum Noir markers (giraffe: CT1, CT3, CT4 + GB8, GB10 + TN7, TN8; hippo: BGR3, IG6, IG8 + CR7, DR2; leaves: DG2, CG2)
I used Distress Inks for the background (Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio, Pine Needles), pressed them onto a slick surface, and sprayed them with water. Using watercolor cardstock, I then pressed the paper onto the watercolor several times. Then, I adhered this panel with fun foam to a slightly bigger black one. The leaves were attached to the front panel and the giraffe and hippo were adhered with foam tape. Thankfully, Birka also included some sentiments. I used one and cut it out in form of a speech bubble and also adhered it using foam tape. To finish the card, I adhered some of the green sequins that were also included in the letter.

Endlich hatte ich Zeit dieses Stempelset von My Favorite Things auszuprobieren und eine Karte zu machen. Dazu habe ich einen Gnome und die Pilze mit Archival Jet Black Ink auf Aquarellpapier gestempelt und mit Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens koloriert (Mütze: 23, 29, Wink of Stella; Bart: 91,94, 95; Gesicht: 21, 28, 26; Jacke/Hose: 47, 44; Gürtel: 51 + 23, 29, Wink of Stella; Schuhe: 91,94; Pilze: 23, 29 + 64, 72).
Mit meinem Plotter habe ich aus blauem, hell- und dunkelgrünem Karton sowohl einen Himmel (mit ausgeschnittenen Wolken) und zwei Grasebenen ausgeschnitten und anschließend auf einer weißen Kartenbasis befestigt. Mit Lily Pad Dye Ink habe ich das Sentiment "For a friend like gnome one else" am unteren Rand gestempelt. Dann habe ich nur noch die Motive positioniert und festgeklebt (den Zwerg mit Foamtape).

I finally had time to play with this stamp set from My Favorite Things. I stamped the gnome and the mushrooms with Archival Jet Black ink and colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens koloriert (hat: 23, 29, Wink of Stella; beard: 91,94, 95; face: 21, 28, 26; jacket/trousers: 47, 44; belt: 51 + 23, 29, Wink of Stella; boots: 91,94; mushrooms: 23, 29 + 64, 72). 
Using my cutting machine, I cut out a sky with clouds and two layers of grass from blue, light and dark green cardstock and adhered the on a white card base. Using Lily Pad Dye Ink, I stampe the sentiment "For a friend like gnome one else" at the bottom of thecard. Then, I positioned the images and adhered them in place (using foam tape for the gnome).

Ich hatte mir schon vor einiger Zeit dieses Set von Lawn Fawn gekauft, habe aber ein wenig gebraucht, um eine Karte damit zu machen. Die Idee mit den im Hintergrund gestempelten Utensilien habe ich auf unterschiedlichsten Karten gesehen und wollte es auch unbedingt einmal ausprobieren.
So Habe ich zunächst auf hellgrauem Karton verschiedene Motive mit VersaMark gestempelt und es anschließend auf ein etwas größeres rotes Panel geklebt.
Die gleichen Motive habe ich dann noch einmal mit Archival Jet Black Ink auf Aquarellpapier gestempelt und anschließen mit Zig Clean Color Reach Brush Pens koloriert (Cupcake: 52, 23; Spritzbeutel: 91, 95; Löffel: 72, 65). Aus Vellum und weißem Karton habe ich zwei Tags ausgeschnitten und die Motive auf dem Vellum angeordnet und fixiert. Mit VersaMark und rotem Embossingpulver habe ich das Sentiment "You are all I knead" embosst. Beide Tags wurden mit orangenem Band verbunden und anschließend auf dem grauen Panel befestigt.


I bought this stamp set from Lawn Fawn some time ago but didn't have time to make a card until now. I saw many cards on Instagram using this background technique where you stamp some of the images in a lighter color. So I stamped the cupcake, icing bag, and wooden spoon with VersaMark on gray cardstock and adhered this panel to a slightly bigger red one. 
I stamped the same images with Archival Jet Black Ink on watercolor cardstock and colored them with Zig Clean Color Reach Brush Pens koloriert (cupcake: 52, 23; icing bag: 91, 95; wooden spoon: 72, 65). Using vellum and white cardstock I cut out two tag, adhered the images on the vellum tag and embossed the sentiment "You are all I knead" with red embossing powder. Using orange ribbon, I tied the two tags togehter and adhered them on the gray background panel.

Hallo ihr Lieben, heute zeige ich euch eine Karte, die ich extra anhand der Skizze für Task For Two Tuesday gemacht habe. Birka und Wiebke stellen sich abwechselnd jede Woche eine Aufgabe, die in einer Karte umgesetzt werden soll.  Und: dieses mal geben sie die Möglichkeit eigene Karten zu verlinken! Da musste natürlich gleich eine her!
Zunächst habe ich den Pinguin von My Favorite Things mit Archival Jet Black Ink auf Aquarellpapier gestempelt, um ihn mit Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens zu kolorieren (90, 91, Glas: 36, Blüte: 29, 82, Strohhalm: 23, Zitrone: 50). Die Kokosnusscocktails habe ich mit Memento Tuxedo Black Ink auf weißen Karton gestempelt und mit Spectrum Noir Markern ausgemalt (Blüte: PP6, BP7, Wink of Stella; Strohhalm: CR7; Orange: OR1, OR3; sun shade: CT3). Die Kokosnüsse dienen als Shakermaterial.
Für das äußere Panel habe ich weißen Karton verwendet und einen blumenförmigen Kreis ausgeschnitten und mit der Blüte aus dem gleichen Set verwendet und mit drei unterschiedlichen Farben gestempelt (Pink Gumball, Wild Orchid, Grape Soda). Um die Shakerkarte zusammenzustellen, habe ich ein Stück Acetate hinter das Loch geklebt und anschließend Foamtape um den gesamten Kreis geklebt, um den Inhalt an Ort und Stelle zu halten. Neben den Kokosnüssen habe ich auch noch pinke und lilale Sequins verwendet.
Nachdem das Frontpanel auf die Kartenbasis geklebt wurde, habe ich noch ein Stück schwarzen Karton verwendet und mit weißem Embossingpulver ein Sentiment aus dem Set embosst und unterhalb des Kreises befestigt. Der Pinguin wurde mit Foamtape links neben de Banner geklebt.


Hello and thanks for stopping by. Today I wanted to show you a card that I created using the sketch for Task For Two Tuesday.  Birka and Wiebke alternate in setting themselves a task for creating cards. And: now we are able to link our own projects! How great is that?
At first I stamped the pinguin by My Favorite Things with Archival Jet Black Ink on watercolor cardstock and colored him with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens zu kolorieren (90, 91, glas: 36, flower: 29, 82, straw: 23, lemon: 50). The coconut cocktails were stamped onto white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink because I wanted to color them with Spectrum Noir markers (flower: PP6, BP7, Wink of Stella; straw: CR7; orange: OR1, OR3; sun shade: CT3). 
For the outer panel I used white cardtock and cut out a flower shaped circle. Using the flower from the set I created a background with three different inks (Pink Gumball, Wild Orchid, Grape Soda).. To assemble the shaker card, I adhered some acetate behind the circle and glued foam tape around it. For the shaker material I used the coconut cocktails and some pink and violet sequins.
After I adhered the front panel on the card base, I used black cardstock to create a banner and embossed a sentiment from the set with white embossing powder. I adhered the banner on the lower part of the circle and the penguin with foam tape left of it.

After the Distress Inks were dry I removed the Drawing Gum and colored the flower using Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens (25, 82, white gel pen). Lastly, I cut out the sentiment "Thank you" from white cardstock and adhered it next to the flower. The cutting file is from Miss Kate Cuttables (see supplies).

Heute habe ich eine einfache Karte gemacht. Ich finde den Fuchs von C.C.Designs einfach zu niedlich mit dem kleinen Schmetterling auf der Nase. Ich habe ihn mit Archival Jet Black Ink auf Aquarellpapier gestempelt und anschließend mit Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens koloriert (Fell: 52, 20; Ohren: 26, 28 ; weißes Fell: 91; Schmetterling: 31, 37). Das Sentiment stammt von Tim Holtz und wurde mit Cheese Puff Dye Ink unterhalb des Fuchses gestempelt.
Abschließend wurde das weiße Frontpanel auf ein etwas größeres oranges Panel geklebt und dann auf eine Karte geklebt.


Today I wanted to show you this clean and simple card. I adore this little fox with the butterfly on its nose. I stampet him with Archival Jet Black ink on watercolor carstock and colored him with Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens (fur: 52, 20; ears: 26, 28 ; white fur: 91; butterfly: 31, 37). The sentiment is from a stamp set by Tim Holtz and was stamped below the fox with Cheese Puff Dye Ink. 
To finish the card, I adhered the front panel to a slightly larger orange one and adhered everything to a card base.
