Forest Animals Digi Stamps Blog Hop

*UPDATE* You can now link you created projects with the digi stamps to an Link-Up Tool. You click here to get redirected to the Digi Stamp Page. You can find the Link-Up Tool on the bottom of the page.

Hello everyone and thank you for joining us on the this beautiful day! I've met so many wonderful people on Instagram and I saw that some of them started to create digi stamps. They are so talented and created so many amazing and fun stuff that I wanted to give it a go myself.

I drew a lot when I was younger, especially in high school, but stopped when I went to university. Card making has brought me a bit closer to being creative again and after all the wonderful inspiration, here are the first digi stamps I created myself. I still have so much to learn but for now I am super happy with the outcome. Some of you may know that I am a sucker for foxes. So this is what I drew first. And then the idea started to form to create a few forest animals.

I've asked some very talented girls I met on Instagram if they might be interested in working with my digi stamps and create some projects with them so we can all give you some inspiration. And I am super excited for you to see their beautiful creations! You will find the blog hop line up below. But for now I wanted to show you the cards I created. I hope you'll have a lot of fun hopping along! You will also find the download link to all digi stamps and coordinating sentiments below. Enjoy!

If you like what you see, it would mean so much to me if you'd follow my blog and the blogs of my talented crafty friends. Thank you very much!

We also offer SVG stamp outlines for .99 they work perfectly with your cutting machine. You must have a program that opens these files. This is a great alternative to coordinating dies and much less expensive.

New $1.00 sequins....

Here's what I've created for you...

I've created a couple of cards with the new products of the June release!

For the first project I used the adorable Island Paradise stamp set which is simply gorgeous. I stamped the images with black ink on white card stock and colored them with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils. This is the first time I used this coloring medium and I need more practice but I really did like the end result.

I also die cut the middle sized piece from the Crazy Frames Dies from white card stock as well as a piece of Kraft card stock which is just a little bit bigger and adhered them together. Using black ink, I stamped the sentiment "Sending much Aloha", stamping the first part of the sentiment at the top of the card and the second part on the bottom. To give my die cut panel a bit more dimension, I used fun foam and adhered it in the center of my top-folded white notecard. To finish off my card, I also adhered the torch, palm tree, and the girl to the die cut panel.

Here is the second project I made and it is a set of cards I created. I used the new Crazy Frame Dies and Greeting Word Dies as well as an older stamp set Kitchen Cuties to go with them (this set is on sale throughout the whole month so be sure to grab it).

Because I have made a video tutorial for these cards, I won't say too much about how I have created them here. Please check out the video which you can find below the pictures.

Hi everyone, I am back with a new card for the start of a new linky party. I do have a brick wall embossing folder and wanted to stamp a sentiment on embossed card stock so it would look like graffiti. And I thought it would be a great opportunity to combine it with this linky party.

I started off stamping the cute little skunk using Archival Jet Black ink on mix media paper and colored him with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. I also stamped the little bee with Memento and colored it with Spectrum Noir markers.

For the background I used a white top-folded notecard and a self-made cloud stencil and applied Tumbled Glass Distress Ink over it and made sure to change the angle of the stencil throughout the whole process. Using brown card stock I created the brick for my card using a stencil by Taylored Expressions. To create the grass, I die cut a piece for the grass using the rectangle die from the Fancy Frame die set and cut the grass.

To assemble my card, I cut down the embossed brick panel and adhered it to the right side of my top-folded notecard as well as the grass panel. Using white pigment ink, I stamped the "congrats!" sentiment on top of the brick. Using 3D foam squares, I also adhered the skunk and the bee to the card.

I hope you enjoyed my card and I am looking forward to seeing your creations!!

Sorry, I forgot!

Hi everyone, this is Jeanin from Craftin Desert Divas and I want to share this card with you today.

For this card I wanted to focus on the colors white, black, and gold and wanted it to keep simple. I started off die cutting a rectangle from white card stock and stamped the different outlines of the flowers from the Botanical Layers stamp set across the bottom of the card with VersaMark and embossed them with gold embossing powder. I made sure to mask off the flowers that would be in the front to be able to stamp the ones in the back.

From gold mirror card stock I die cut the word "Sorry" from the Wishful Thoughts dies and adhered it at the top of the rectangle. To complete the sentiment, I used "I forgot" from the Wishful Thoughts stamp set and stamped it directly under the "Sorry" using black ink. For a bit more contrast, I die cut the large scalloped rectangle from black card stock and assembled my card. I used a white top-folded notecard and adhered both rectangles to it.

Thanks for stopping by! Have an amazing day!

Wishing you a liftetime of happiness

Hi everyone, I want to share this card with you today that I created with products by Craftn Desert Divas.

For this card I used the adorable cats from the "Lovies" stamp set and colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. I wanted to create this card in a CAS style. I used a simple strip of green shimmer paper and using a darker green ink, I stamped the circle border from the "Across the border" stamp set to give it a little bit more interest.

I adhered the green strip to a white notecard and stamped the sentiment "Wishing you a lifetime of happiness" below it using black ink. I think this sentiment goes so well with the cats!

I still thought there is something missing so I went ahead and die cut two flag banners from both white and kraft cardstock. I think the kraft cardstock works really well with the green strip and the gray color of the cats. I adhered them to the right side of the card, overlapping a little bit. To finish off the card, I adhered the cats with 3D foam squares.

Thanks for stopping by! Have an amazing day!

Create A Scene (Craftin Desert Divas Linky Party)

Hello friends! The theme for this Linky Party at Craftin Desert Divas is "Create A Scene"! We would love to see all of your projects that fit this theme! So go ahead and craft it and link it up on the Craftin Desert Diva's Blog.

For this Linky Party I wanted to create a fun slider card using the Adventure Awaits and Adventure Land stamp sets! I had so much fun creating a galaxy Sneak Peek project for the new release that I wanted to make another one!

Iused the astronaut from the Adventure Awaits set as well as the rocket and planet from the Adventure Land set, stamped them on watercolor cardstock and colored them in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers.

For the background, I started off applying Fossilized Amber, Pink Raspberry, Tilted Violet, Chipped Sapphire, and Black Soot to mix media cardstock. Then, I spritzed it with water. Since the ink reacts with water it will be lifted off when dabbing the water away. This was the first layer of stars.  I also used white acrylic paint, Perfect Pearls "Pearl" and Gansai Tambi #95 and spritzed it on the panel with a brush. After everything was dry, I die cut it with the largest scallop frame from the Fancy Frame die set.
To create the slider part of the card, I used an x-acto knife and cut out a strip from the center of the background. The strip had to be a bit smaller than the 1 cent piece I was going to use. To create the needed dimension, I used a few layers of foam tape all around the cut out strip and the rest of the panel. The cent piece needs a little bit of room to move around easily.

I adhered down the cut out strip to a white notecard and also adhered the background panel, making sure to include the cent piece behind it. On top of the cent piece, I glued a small 3D foam square to which I was able to adhere the little astronaut.
I found the perfect sentiment in the "Wishful thoughts" stamp set: "Wishing you were here with me". I stamped it with VersaMark ink on black cardstock and embossed it with white embossing powder. I cut the cardstock down to a strip and die cut it with the fancy frame die so the borders would match with the background panel. To finish the scene, I adhered the rocket and the planet to the card.
