Make a wish

Hello everyone, I am back with a special card for you. Today I am sharing a simple gift tag with you using the Shaker Tag Dies by Craftin Desert Divas.

I started off die cutting the basic shape of the shaker tag from Kraft card stock and also used the embossing embellishment dies for the top and bottom of the tag to give it more interest.

On mix media card stock, I stamped one of the unicorn from the Magical Unicorns stamp set and colored the image in with Zig markers.
For more embellishment, I also die cut two clouds from the Scene Builders die set from white card stock.

To assemble the tag, I first stamped the sentiment "Make a wish" from the Magical Unicorns stamp set on the top of the tag using black dye ink. Then I adhered the unicorn and one of the clouds to the tag and adhered the second cloud using 3D foam squares to give it a bit more dimension.

I really hope you like this tag and got inspired! After all, Easter is almost here and we all are going to need some gift tags! ;)

Tags for Edible Christmas Gifts

Hi everyone, today I have an easy and fun project for you. I made a cookie mix and a mulled wine mix for two friends of mine for Christmas. I used two glass jars for my ingredients so the recipients can immediately see them.
I wanted to include the ingredients and instructions on tags so I went ahead and die cut a tag from white and red card stock using the "Shake It Up" die set as well as the "Stitched In Circles" die set. I also used the add ons for the tag from the first set to create some stitching.

On the red tag I wrote the name of the mix and also the ingredients included in the mix. On the second, white tag I wrote the instructions so the recipient will know how to proceed. For the cookie mix I also included the little cookie from the "Kitchen Cuties" stamp set because it was just perfect for it.

I really love giving self-made gifts and I think my friends will like them. And in addition they will also have a nice jar for storage. I hope I could inspire you to give your own mixes to friends and family and decorate them with goodies from Craftin Desert Divas.

Easter Tag's (DeNami Designs)

Hello DeNami friends!

I am back with another project for the DeNami Designs Design Team. This time I want to show you a couple of Easter tags that I created. I found a cutting file for this tag online and cut it out of white cardstock as well as the inner part out of yellow, green, and red cardstock.

Then I stamped the cute Bunny with its eggs on the center part of the created window of the tag and colored the image with alcohol markers.

To finish off the tags, I stamped the sentiment "Happy easter" on the  inner part of the tags.

Wine Bottle Tag

My parents celebrate their wedding anniversary on Friday and my brother and I ordered flowers and bought some wine bottles (my first wine order! I feel so grown-up!). To decorate the wine bottles and searched online for some nice ideas. I came across this wine bottle tag and wanted to give it a go.
I created a cutting file and cut it out with my Brother Scan'N'Cut. At first, I stamped the little beaver and the flowers with Archival Jet Black Ink because I wanted to color the images with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens. And I did that for the flowers but I didn't keep in mind that I wasn't going to be able to blend my colors on just regular cardstock (accordingly, the beaver looked terrible). So I stamped the beaver again on Neenah Solar white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored him with my Spectrum Noir markers (TN7, TN8, EB5; FS2, FS3), used a white gelpen to make his eyes prettier, cut him out, and used foam pads to place him on top of the first one. Before I adhered the beaver, I stamped the little banner and the sentiment above and below the critter with Classic Cherry Ink.
