Distress Resist with DeNami Design and Farewell
Hello crafty friends, I am back with my last card as a Design Team member. I had such a great time the last couple of months! Nami is so sweet and always helpful in answering the million questions I had :)
Today I, again, used the three filigree stamps from the last release (because I just love them!). This time I wanted to create a card using the ink resist technique. For that, I stamped the floral images on watercolor cardstock. But instead of covering the whole panel, I only placed them in the bottom right corner, stretching a little bit to the lower left side and the right center. I stamped them with VersaMark ink and embossed them with white embossing powder.
I then applied a layer of water on the panel as well as green, turquoise, and yellow watercolor, trying to let them blend together and fade out where no images were stamped. I also dabbed the color away now and then to receive a lighter look. I wanted to include a bold sentiment. So I went with black cardstock and a huge sentiment that says "Liebe Grüsse" (English: best wishes/lots of love).
I also stamped the sentiment with VersaMark ink and embossed it with
white embossing powder on the black cardstock. After I trimmed in in
place, I adhered it with foam tape to the upper left corner. To finish off my card I adhered the watercolor panel to a Kraft card base. I thought the color of the Kraft paper was a nice contrast (but not too bold) to the soft watercolor.

Distress Ink Lifting (DeNami Design)
Hello crafty friends and welcome back to another card that I created with stamps by DeNami design. For today's card I used the three beautiful flower filigree stamps.
I wanted to use the ink lifting technique for this card so I started off applying three Distress colors of the orange/red color family on mix media cardstock. After the ink was dry I stamped the three stamps randomly on the cardstock using VersaMark and embossed them with clear embossing powder. Then, I spritzed the paper with water and lifted the ink from the paper leaving a softer touch of color behind. Except for the embossed area which still shows the intense color.
I then cut the cardstock so I could create two cards. I adhered the distressed panel to a white piece of cardstock and used a sorry die to die cut the word from both the colorful and the white cardstock. To create a little bit of dimension, I cut the word two additional times from white cardstock. To finish off the card, I die cut the panel with a scallop die and adhered it to a standard white notecard.

You tied the knot (DeNami Design)
Hi crafty friends,
today I want t show oyu this wedding card that I made using the cute owl love birds. I wanted to make a really simple and easy card and didn't want to include too many colors. I started off stamping the owls on white cardstock and color them in with alcohol markers.
For the card itself, I die cut a banner from white cardstock and stamped the sentiment "congratulations you tied the knot" with black ink. Using an embossing folder, I embossed the front part of a standard white notecard and adhered the banner piece to it using fun foam to give it a little bit of dimension. The owls were adhered to the bottom center of the banner using glue dots.
To finish off the card I included white and gold baker's twine and tied a
bow (or a knot...) at the bottom of the card. I hope you enjoyed this

Lot's of Layers (DeNami Design)
Hi DeNami friends,
this week I created a card for you with a lot of layers. To create this card I usedthe fancy frame dies by Craftin Desert Divas in different sizes and. For a bit of color I blended ripe persimmon distress ink ohe largest and the third largest layer and sprinkled it with water to get the ink to react and lift to create this nice splatter effect.
On the smallest rectangle I stamped the three little owls standing around a cupcake and colored them in with alcohol markers. For a bit more interest I also used a Wink of Stella clear glitter pen and applied some glitter on the cupcake and the little party hats.
After adhering the different layers together, I also wanted to include a sentiment. I used another die by Clearly Besotted to cut the sentiment "congrats" from gold mirror card stock and adhered it to the second smallest layer.
To finish off the card I also adhered some 4mm gold sequins by Pretty Pink Posh using tiny glue dots. I really prefer using glue dots over liquid glue because 1) I don't create a huge mess (which I usually do) and 2) I can remove them and stick them to another place when I am not satisfied with the look.

Welcome Spring! (DeNami Design)
Hello DeNami friends,
today I want to share this unconventional spring card with you. I was not sure if I really wanted to include such a large black area in a spring card but decided that it created a nice contrast to the distressed stencil background and the cute owls.
I started off taping a circle/bubble stencil to my white paper and applied two green inks over it. I then cut the panel into place and die cut a black background panel. I also stamped the Owl Love Birds on white cardstock and colored them with watercolor markers. Instead of fuzzy cutting the owls I decided to cut a white strip.
To assemble the card I adhered everything together and also placed a few mint green sequins on the card.

Gift/Favor (DeNami Design)
Hello DeNami Friends!
Today I wantet to show you this gift box that I made. To make it I used this sweet bunny stamp by DeNami Design and a free cutting file by Brother that you can find on the Canvas website for the Scan'N'Cut. It's not super big (but I resized it so it fit on an A4 cardstock) but I was able to fit two pieces of chocolate inside.
I used pastel yellow cardstock to cut out the box and it's super simple to assemble. To embellish my box I die cut a flower boarder from green, red and orange cardstock and adhered the individual pieces together. Before adhereing it to to the box, I stamped the sentiment "celebrating you" with VersaMark ink and embossed it with gold embossing powder.
I think the cute stamps by DeNami Design are perfect to embellish gift boxes like the one I showed you today.
