Sneak Peek 02 Owl Always Love You (Denami Design)

And here is the card for the third day of sneak peek week. I used the following products:

NEW CL-G170 Owl Love Birds
NEW CD-D189 One of a Kind

To create this card I used a heart stencil that I designed myself (you can download the cutting file here). Using Abandoned Coral Distres ink, I blenden the color over the stencil and created the different hearts. But because I wanted the background to be more subtle, I cut a piece of vellum the right size and placed it over the packground piece.


I stamped the Owl Love Birds stamp on white cardstock, stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored the cuties in with Spectrum Noir markers. Because I also wanted to include a sentiment, I stamped the One of a Kind stamp on the vellum of the background piece with VersaMark ink and embossed it with gold embossing powder.


To assemble my card I adhered a piece of red cardstock to a card base and glued the heart background piece a bit askew in place. Using foam squares I adhered the owls in the cneter of the card.

    You're stenciled heart background is beautiful, Jeanin!! And I do love the softness the vellum overlay adds to the design! Super cute card!!
