Distress Ink Lifting (DeNami Design)
Hello crafty friends and welcome back to another card that I created with stamps by DeNami design. For today's card I used the three beautiful flower filigree stamps.
I wanted to use the ink lifting technique for this card so I started off applying three Distress colors of the orange/red color family on mix media cardstock. After the ink was dry I stamped the three stamps randomly on the cardstock using VersaMark and embossed them with clear embossing powder. Then, I spritzed the paper with water and lifted the ink from the paper leaving a softer touch of color behind. Except for the embossed area which still shows the intense color.
I then cut the cardstock so I could create two cards. I adhered the distressed panel to a white piece of cardstock and used a sorry die to die cut the word from both the colorful and the white cardstock. To create a little bit of dimension, I cut the word two additional times from white cardstock. To finish off the card, I die cut the panel with a scallop die and adhered it to a standard white notecard.
I hope you enjoyed my card for today. Have an amazing week.
Happy Birthday Shaker Card
Hi everyone, I am up on the Craftin Desert Divas blog today and I want to share this fun birthday shaker card with you today.
I used the cute lion from the It's All About Zoo stamp set as well as the balloons included in the set. I stamped the images on watercolor cardstock and colored them in with watercolor markers.
For the shaker part of the card, I used a white top-folded notecard and cut out a piece from the top. I used a clear zip log bag to create the shaker pocket that was slightly larger than the part I cut out from the card. I filled the pocket with Emerald Isle sequins, closed it up and adhered it to the notecard.
To hide the sides of the shaker pocket, I adhered a larger and smaller white strip on top. I used the "Happy Birthday" sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set and stamped it in the bottom left corner of the card with black ink. To finish off the card I adhered the little lion to the card using 3D foam squares.

I also die cut a white banner using the Banner Dies as well as die word "Many" from the Wishful Thought Word Dies out of gold mirror cardstock. I adhered the word die to the banner and stamped the word "thanks" in black ink to create the sentiment "many thanks". Using glue dots, I also adhered the flowers and bee to the banner.
Welcome back to another Linky Party at the Craftin Desert Divas Blog. This time it's all about <Garden>. I created this card using lots of Craftin Desert Divas products. I started off stamping the little bee from Just Bugcause and the flowers from Home Sweet Home and Just Bugcause on white cardstock and coloring them with Spectrum Noir markers.
I wanted to have a background panel that would create a bit of contrast but would not be overwhelming. So I decided to use Kraft cardstock which I think goes wonderfully with the theme. Using an embossing folder, I created a dotted background panel. To assemble the card I adhered the kraft panel to a white notecard and also adhered the banner to the background piece.
I really hope you liked my card and I am looking forward to seeing your creations on the blog!
