Shake It Up!

Hello everyone, I am back with a special shaker card for you. I love these see-through shaker card and can't get enough of them.

To start off, I die cut two of the medium size inside scalloped squares from Craftin Desert Divas from white card stock and also stamped the cute little bunny holding a carrot and the carrot wagon from the "Somebunny" stamp set on mix media card stock and colored in the images with my Zig markers.

To create the shaker pocket, I used one of my ziplog bags as and my Fuse tool to create a square shaped pocket that was slightly smaller than the die cut pieces. I filled my shaker pocket with Melon Drop sequins and closed it up.
I then used really strong adhesive to nest the shaker pocket in between the square die cuts. I also included a piece of white and orange baker's twine so the card could also used as a tag or ornament. To finish off the project, I adhered the bunny and the wagon to the front of the shaker card.

I really hope you enjoyed this shaker card/ornament. Have a lovely day!

You are my rainbow after the rain

Today I wanted to share this card using the new Crafin Desert Divas Rainbow die in combination with the unicorn images from the Crafin Desert Divas Magical Unicorns stamp set that was released in March. I think they go so well together.

Kein automatischer Alternativtext verfügbar.

Instead of using the rainbow in a more traditional way, I wanted to use the semi circles to create a complete circle - but keeping the colors of the rainbow. I die cut the rainbow from white card stock and colored in the individual pieces with Copic markers and added a layer of Wink of Stella. After they were dry, I adhered them to the center of a kraft card base.

Kein automatischer Alternativtext verfügbar.

I stamped the unicorn image on mix media card stock and colored it in with Zig markers and also adhered it to the card base in the center of the rainbow circle using 3D foam squares.
To finish off the card, I used the sentiment "You are my rainbow after the rain" from the Crafin Desert Divas Stormy Weather stamp set.

I really hope you enjoyed this card! Have a great weekend!

And I had to send out a card to Jessa and below is the card that I made for her.

I also send her a little treat. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of it. So hop along to Jessa to find out what she thought of my card and what I sent her :)

Make a wish

Hello everyone, I am back with a special card for you. Today I am sharing a simple gift tag with you using the Shaker Tag Dies by Craftin Desert Divas.

I started off die cutting the basic shape of the shaker tag from Kraft card stock and also used the embossing embellishment dies for the top and bottom of the tag to give it more interest.

On mix media card stock, I stamped one of the unicorn from the Magical Unicorns stamp set and colored the image in with Zig markers.
For more embellishment, I also die cut two clouds from the Scene Builders die set from white card stock.

To assemble the tag, I first stamped the sentiment "Make a wish" from the Magical Unicorns stamp set on the top of the tag using black dye ink. Then I adhered the unicorn and one of the clouds to the tag and adhered the second cloud using 3D foam squares to give it a bit more dimension.

I really hope you like this tag and got inspired! After all, Easter is almost here and we all are going to need some gift tags! ;)

Treasure Trolls

Hi everyone, I am back with a card featuring the Treasure Trolls stamp set by Craftin Desert Divas.

I started off stamping the little troll on mixed media card stock and colored her in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. I then went ahead and printed off the digi mine stamp on mixed media card stock and also colored in the background with the same markers.

For the outer frame, I used the largest Inside Scalloped Circle die and die cut it from white card stock to create a contrast to the dark mine background. Using the circle die from the Stitched in Circle die set, I die cut the background and also a standard card base making sure to let the die hang over the folded line to create a circle shaped card base.

Now everything that was left to do was to assemble the card. I adhered the background to the circle shaped card base. Using liquid glue, I then adhered the outer frame on top (it's a bit larger than the card base but not too extreme). To adhere the troll I used 3D foam squares and placed her next to the tracks.

Thank you so much for stopping by! See you soon!

See-Trough Shaker Card

Hi everyone, I am back with this fun shaker card. I started off printing the racoons on some mixed media card stock with a laser printer and colored them in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers.

Then I made the shaker pocket using some thin plastic sheets and the fuse tool. Before sealing all four sides, I filled the pocket with the Sweet Sixteen sequins and the cute racoons.
Using the largest Fancy Frame die, I die cut the front of a card base so I'd get two nice sides with a scalloped edge. Using strong adhesive, I simply adhered the shaker pocket to the back side of the top and bottom card base piece.

I hope you enjoyed this shaker card and that I could inspire you to make your own.

Send a little love

Hi everyone, I am back with a clean and simple card for you today.

First, I stamped the cute fox image from the "Special Delivery" stamp set on mix media card stock and colored him in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. I just love how the images look using these watercolor markers.

I wanted to use a dark blue card base this time which is why I needed some more contrast on my card. I used the wreath die from the "Stitched in circles" die set and die cut it from gold card stock which had the perfect size for the fox. I ahdered the wreath and the fox to the center of the card and white embossed the sentiment "Send a little love wherever you go".

And since I actually wanted to fox to send "love", I also die cut a heat from red card stock and adhered it to the fox so it looks like he is holding it in his hands.

I really hope you enjoyed this card and are inspired to send a little love.

Sending happiness to you

Hi everyone, today I wanted to share this fun card with you featuring the amazing "Special Delivery" stamp set by Craftin Desert Divas.

I started off by stamping the flamingo and the letter on some mixed media card stock and colored the flamingo in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers.

Using pattern paper with two different sides I die cut the stitched box die and adhered it togeter. I also die cut the medium stitched scalloped squre die from white card stock and adhered it to a square kraft card base for more contrast. Then, I adhered the box to the center of the card and placed the flamingo with a little bit of liquid glue inside the box.

To finish up the card and to include a sentiment, I die cut one of the flag banners from black cardstock and white embossed the sentiment "Sending happiness to you" on top of it. I then trimmed the flag banner into place and adhered it to the card with foam tape.

I really hope you liked this card! Have a great day!

Warmest Wishes

Hi everyone, today I wanted to show you this shaker card that I made with images from the "Winter Cheer" stamp set by Craftin Desert Divas. I went a little overboard with the sequins but this way the recipient has to work the shaker card to reveal the complete image ;)

I started off die cutting the shaker card panel from white card stock using the largest scalloped die from the "Francy Frame" die set. I then cut the largest "Scribbled Circle" die from the panel and again from red card stock. Using red ink, I stamped the sentiment "Warmest Wishes" directly under the window. I also cut a piece of white card stock and that was a bit larger than the shaker pocket and die cut a snowy hill with a piece from the "Shake It Up" die set. Unfortunately, you can't really see it on the pictures.

Then I cut a large enough piece of acetate and adhered it behind the window which also gave me the possibility to adhere the red scribbled circle to the outside of the window. Using foam tape I created the actual window that can hold the sequins and adhered the snowy hill into place on a silver card base.
I stamped the image on mix media card stock and colored it in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and also adhered it to the inside of the shaker card. All that was left to do was to fill it up with Fairy Dust sequins (please be careful and don't overfill like I did). For a finishing touch, I adhered the little star from the set to the left of the sentiment.

I hope you liked this shaker card. Have an amazing day and see you next time!

Late Christmas Card

Hi everyone, I am back with another card for you. I know, Christmas is over and I hope you had a wonderful time! But I still wanted to show you this card that I made using the adorable lemurs from the set "Snow Days" as well as die cuts from the "Outdoor Landscape 2" die set from Craftin Desert Divas.

I started off with a piece of mix media card stock and applied some light orange ink to it to create a snowy sunset background. Then, I die cut the card stock using the largest scalloped die from the "Fancy Frames" die set. I also die cut the same piece from white card stock and used the grassy die to create some kind of snowy grass ground.

I wanted to keep the background simple so I also die cut the  fence from white card stock which creates a nice but subtle contrast to the background panel. I stamped the images on mix media card stock and colored them in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers because I really like the effect they give.

To assemble my card I used a Kraft card base and adhered the background panel, the fence and the grassy field to it. Using black ink, I stamped the sentiment "Merry Christmas" from the "Santa's Helpers" stamp set on the background piece. And using 3D foam squares I also adhered the lemurs and the snowman into place.

Thank you very much for stopping by! I hope you have an amazing day and see you next time!

Sending Hugs

Hello everyone and happy New Year! I have a quick and easy card for you today. Since it is still cold outside and at least here it's supposed to get really cold in the next couple of days, I created this snowy card scene using the cute lemur from the "Snow Day" stamp set.

I started off stamping the image on mixed media card stock and coloring him in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens. For my background I used an embossing powder that created tiny dots that look like snow. I simply embossed the front part of my card base.
I also wanted to create a bold sentiment with a high contrast so I die cut a flag banner from black card stock using one of the bigger flag banner dies and white embossed the sentiment "Sending hugs" using stamps from the "Wishful Thoughts" stamp set. I adhered the flag banner with foam tape to the card base and mounted the lemur to the upper right corner of the flag banner.

I hope you enjoyed this quick card as much as I did. Have a great day!
