Happy Insta Girls Halloween Blog Hop
Hello everyone and welcome to our spooky Halloween blog hop! We are a group of crafty friends who met on Instagram (hence the name Happy Insta Girls) and from time to time we organize a blog hop and send each other cards on a specific topic.
If you've started hopping earlier you should have come from the blog of sweet Birka who sent me a beautiful card and a spooky treat! It's such a cute card and I love the combination of the purple and pink (although I am not a huge fan of pink). And that treat box and the wobbly arms! Adorable!

I had so send a Halloween card and a small treat to Kerstin and here is what I made.
I used stamps and the double slider die from Lawn Fawn to create this card.
And I also made two treats for Kerstin which were so much fun to make. I made a little box for a Ritter Sport chocolate bar (and some sequins)...

Du bist gruselig bezaubernd
Hallo, ihr Lieben! Ich bin zurück und heute gibt's etwas Schauriges als Vorfreude auf Halloween. Man hat ja sonst kaum Gelegenheit diese tollen Sets zu verwenden. Das Set von My Favorite Things Fa-BOO-lous ist einfach wunderbar und die Geister lassen sich toll kolorieren. Feiert ihr denn Halloween?
Für den Hintergrund wollte ich etwas Knalliges, aber dennoch Düsteres. Daher habe ich mich für eine Kombi aus Orange, Lila und Schwarz entschieden. Zusammen mit einer Baumbordüre, die ich auch schwarzem Karton ausgestanzt habe, gibt es dem Hintergrund ein schauriges Flair. Zurecht gestanzt mit einer Rechteckstanze von MFT war der Hintergrund so schnell zusammengesetzt.
Die Geister habe ich mit ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Markern koloriert und der grüne Geist gibt noch einmal einen netten Kontrast zum orangen/lilanen Hintergrund.
Ich hoffe, euch hat diese Halloweenkarte gefallen und ihr schaut auch beim nächsten Mal wieder vorbei!

Happy Insta Girls Halloween Blog Hop
Hi everyone, it's time for another Happy Insta Girls Blog Hop. This blog hop initiative came alive thanks to the lovely Birka!
Most of us met on Instagram which has a large and loving crafting
community. I have met so many lovely girls on Instagram and some of them
are part of this blog hop.
Birka drew lots for the blog hop line up and everyone sent an Halloween
card to the chosen crafty friend. I received a
lovely card and an itsy bitsy tiny spider from Reni. Thank you so so much! Someone lost a lot of blood, apparently....
I was chosen to send a card to Sonja and I hope she enjoyed the card I made as well as a Milka chocolate bar.

Happy Insta Girls Blog Hop - Halloween
I started to use Instagram a couple of months ago and there are so many nice and wonderful people out there which are so talented and encourage your work that you put out there. Now I have been asked to take part in the Happy Insta Girls Blog Hop - and YES OF COURSE, I'D LOVE TO! It's great to have found that many people to share my love for crafting with.
Birka chose the topic "Autumn or Halloween" for this second hop and did all the organization! Kudos! Which means that we all created a card and sent it to eachother. You will find the order of the blog hop at the bottom of the post.
I received this lovely Halloween card from Tanja. Look at this adorable monster. I personally don't own any monster stamp sets because I am somehow not that fond of them. But I have to say, the one Tanja send me is just too cute with his big grin. I love the colors that she used and I have to get to know what embossing powder she used! The color is just perfect for Halloween!
I also decided to make a Halloween card for Julia using the only Halloween stamp set I own. I also used my Scan'N'Cut to cut a haunted house out of black and orange card stock. I created a background with Distress inks and I really like the combination of the purple sky and the orange "lights" of the house. And I hope Julia liked the card I sent her as well. Please help me (Halloween)
Oh no, the little fox got stuck in a large spider web (I can't even think about it....).
This card is similar to the one I made a while back. So if you want to know how i created the background, just take a look at this post.
The little fox is from a stamp set by Mama Elephant and I stamped him and a few bugs from Lawn Fawn with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on some Neenah cardstock. I colored my images with Spectrum Noir markesr (fox: OR1, OR2, OR3 + Blender, IG1, IG2 + FS2, FS3; bee: Blender, TB1, TB2 + CT1, CT3, fly: Blender, TB1, TB3 + IG6, IG8).
I adhered the fox with foam tape and the bugs with my ATG gun on the spider web background. To give the card a little more details, I used the tiny spider from the Booyah stamp set and stamped it wiht Memento Tuxedo Black on the background and the fox.

Happy Halloween (Create A Smile)
Today I made another card for the Create A Smile November Guest Designer Call. And I created my first ever Halloween card which was really fun! And as you can see, Mr. Octopus dressed up as spider for Halloween :)
To start off, I found a free SVG file for the spider web at the new SVG store and cut it out of stencil material to use with my Distress inks. I used Chipped Sapphire, Dusty Concord, and Seedless Preserves as well as my blending tool to create a "spooky" background. I sprayed some water on top of it after the blending was done which created a really nice effect.
For the "spider", I stamped the octopus from the stamp set "Underwater Love" by Create A Smile with Memento Tuxedo Black ink as well as the little pumpkin treat bags and the witch hat from the "Holiday Party Animal" set by Lawn Fawn. I thought it would be funny to give him a ton of treat bags since he as so many arms/legs.
I colored my images with Spectrum Noir markers and colored the octopus with IG6, IG8, and IG10. For the treat bags I use OR1, OR2, OR3, and CR11 on the inside. Because I colored over the little tooth of the pumpkin I used a white gel pen to color it white again. To give them a bit of sparkle I've put some Wink of Stella on top of them. For the witch hat I used IG6 and IG8 as well as BP4 and BP7. To make to octopus more spidery, I used my Memento Dual-Tip marker to draw some fur on his head and arms. Using liquid glue, I adhered the treat bags to all arms/legs of the octopus/spider as well as the little hat.
I used the sentiment "Happy Halloween" from another Lawn Fawn stamp set called "Booyah" and embossed it with white embossing powder by WOW on a piece of black cardstock.
To finish off the card, I adhered the spider web panel to a piece of dark gray cardstock which was a bit bigger than the front panel. I also adhered to sentiment strip along with my ATG gun and adhered everything to a cardbase. Lastly, I used 3D foam squares to attach the octopus/spider on top of the spider web.
