Happy Insta Girls Oster Blog Hop
Hello everyone! It's time again for another Happy Insta Girls Blog Hop for Easter! It's been a few years now that sweet Birka asked me to join this awesome group of crafty Girls to send each other cards for special occasions. This year I received this wonderful Easter card from Julia. I absolutely love her style and card, especially since it was done with a clear and simple style which I personally love!
And she also included a nice package with some Sweets which I might have already devoured... ;)
I was happy to send a card out to Nina and I tried out a card with an inside pop-up Scene using different Lawn Fawn products.

Hi everyone, and welcome back to another Happy Insta Girls Blog Hop! This blog hop initiative came alive thanks to the lovely Birka! Most of us met on Instagram that has a large and loving crafting community. I have met so many lovely girls on Instagram and some of them are part of this blog hop.

Happy Insta Girls Oster Blog Hop
Hi everyone and welcome back to another Happy Insta Girls Blog Hop! This time we will share some Easter cards with you that we created. We are a group of girls who met on Instagram and the lovely Birka brought this blog hop to life! I hope you'll have fun and enjoy all the cards that you'll find along the way! :)
I received this wonderful card by Sonja! Isn't it just the perfect Easter card? I was really happy when I received it and now it has a special spot on my wall! :)
For this blog hop I wanted to make another interactive card. For my birthday last year I received this amazing birthday card. If you pulled on one side, the image would change to another. And I just had to try it!! So I cut it open, traced all the individual pieces, scanned it with my Scan'N'Cut and created a cutting file. (The plan was to share it with you today but it doesn't work 100% and I still had to adjust while creating the card so I decided to post it whenever I have the chance to make it work.)
For my card I needed two panels. To create these I used the Chirpy Chirp Chirp stamp set by Lawn Fawn. For the front panel I started off stamping three eggs. I also used the grass border stamp and stamped it along the bottom of the panel in light and dark green, overlapping. For the cloud background I masked off the eggs and used a self-made cloud sencil and applied Tumbled Glass distress ink over the edges of the stencil. I finished the panel stamping the sentiment "chirpy-chirp-chirp!".
For the second panel I wanted three little chicken being hatched, so I stamped the different chicken and egg shells, masking off specific parts. I also stamped the grass border stamp again and also created the cloudy background to match the front panel. This time, I used the sentiment "[translation: happy easter!]".
And now the scary part began. I had to cut my self-made cutting file for the card from the created panels. If that didn't work for whatever reason, I would have re-create the whole thing. BUT... eyerthing worked out fine! :)
Now I had to assemble the card. I adhered the back panel to the inside of the card shell that I cut from grass green cardstock. Then I had to threaded the front panel in the back panel and closed the card shell. I also applied yellow washi tape to the bottom and front to make sure that the shell stays shut. You can see the card in action in the video below.

Card Sunday # 6
Bald ist Ostern, daher habe ich heute noch ein paar Osterkarten gemacht. Als Hintergrund habe ich einen Gingham-Stempel von Kaisercraft ausprobiert, den ich in verschiedenen Dye Inks gestempelt habe (siehe Supplies).
Easter is around the corner, that's why I made a few Easter cards. I used a gingham stamp from Kaisercraft (which I always wanted to try) and stamped it using differend dye inks (see supply list).
Auf Transparentpapier habe ich dann mit WOW! Embossingpulver in verschiedenen Farben eine Hasenbordüre gestempelt (der Stempel ist von einem Osterset von HobbyCraft aus England. Leider konnte ich sie im Internet nirgendwo finden). Über der Bordüre habe ich den Spruch "Happy Easter" von dem Set "Eggstraordinary Egghunt" von Create a Smile verwendet.
On vellum, I stamped a bunny border (the stamp is from an Easter set from Hobby Craft UK. Unfortunately, I cant find it online.) using VersaMark and sprinkled it with differend colors of WOW! embossing powder. The sentiment "Happy Easter" ist from the stamp set "Eggstraordinary Egghunt" from Create a Smile.
Auch die Tiere sind von dem Osterstempelset von Create A Smile. Ich habe sie mit Memento Tuxedo Black Ink auf Neenah Solar White Card Stock gestempelt und mit Spectrum Noir Markern ausgemalt. Leider kann man die Farben nicht einzeln sondern nur in Sets kaufen.

Geschenkanhänger Ostern / Easter Gift Tag
Heute habe ich Geschenkanhänger für meine Ostergeschenke für Freunde und Familie gemacht. Dafür habe ich der Brother ScanNCut einen Anhänger erstellt und diese süßen Osterhasen-Silhouetten von Miss Kate Cuttables benutzt. Die Anhänger inkl. Hasen habe ich aus weißem Karton ausgeschnitten und zuästzlich aus farbigem Karton etwas kleinere Vierecke, die hinter den Anhänger geklebt wurden.

I cut out both the tag and the bunnies from white card stock. I also cut out squares in different colors that were a little bit smaller than the tag and glued them behind the tags.

Bunny Bag 2
A few days ago I found another pattern for a bunny bag which I really wanted to make. The pattern and instructions can be found here. I actually like this bag better than the first one that I made because it is easier to get larger things in there (e.g. an easter egg).
Cracker Box Easter
Für Ostern wollt ich dieses Jahr unbedingt eine Cracker Box ausprobieren. Ich habe mir eine SVG-Datei bei the Cutting Cafe gekauft, mit der ich sehr zufrieden bin. Ich habe mehrere Boxen mit meiner Schneidemaschine ausgeschnitten, gefalzt, zusammen geklebt und mit Band zusammen gebunden. Natürlich habe ich noch ein paar kleine Ostersüßigkeiten in meine Box gesteckt.
Verziert habe ich mit Stempeln von Create a Smile "Eggstraordinary Egghunt", die ich mit Spectrum Noir Markern ausgemalt und mit Foam Pads auf die Cracker Box geklebt habe.

Hasentüte / Bunny Bag
Als Verpackung für Ostersüßigkeiten habe ich nach einer schönen und schnellen Lösung gesucht und diese hier gefunden. Die Anleitung kann man hier finden. Man benötigt nur dünnen Filz in zwei Farben und Wackelaugen, wenn gewünscht.
Die Öffnung ist jedoch nicht sehr groß, so dass z.B. gefärbte Eier nicht hineinpassen. Die Öffnung bzw. die Ohren werden dann mit einem Geschenkband zusammengebunden.
I wanted something fast and easy for Easter. I found this manual and you only need some light felt in Gray and White/Beige (or whatever color you like). I also used googly eyes instead of stitching them on.
Cut out two bunny pieces as well as the lighter felt for the ears and sew them on. Sew around the two man pieces left sides together (no need to turn the fabric), keeping the space between the ears open. If you want the opening bigger I suggest to print out the pattern larger than 100%.
Fill your bunny bag and use some ribbon to tie the ears together.
Osterplätzchen
Zu Ostern wollte ich noch etwas Selbstgebackenes machen, daher habe ich ganz einfache Mürbeteigplätzchen gebacken und mit Royal Icing verziert. Für das Royal Icing habe ich zwei Eiweiß, 2 TL Zitronensaft und eine Packung Puderzucker verwendet.
Namensschilder Ostern
Als Geschenkanhänger wollte ich keine Anhänger extra kaufen, daher habe ich mir Plätzchenausstecher geschnappt, habe ihre Umrisse ummalt und ausgeschnitten.
Eierwärmer
Als ein weiteres Ostergeschenk habe ich diese kleinen Eierwärmer gehäkelt. Hier die Anleitung:

Eine weitere Idee für Ostern habe ich auf DIY Seite gefunden. Die Anleitung auf deutsch kann man hier downloaden.
Man benötigt Wolle in zwei verschiedenen Farben mit der Stärke 4-5 und eine Häkelnade der Größe 3. Die Kapuze des Hasens kann auf- und abgesetzt werden, wenn man diese nur an den Hals des Körpers näht. Durch zwei Löcher können dann auch die Ohren, die durch die Kapuze gesteckt werden, freigelegt werden.

PomPom Osterhase
Dieser kleine PomPom Osterhase ist eine schnelle und günstige Idee zu Ostern.
Materialien
- Wolle (zwei Farben)
- flacher Stein
- ggf. Augen
- Heißklebepistole
- Schere
- Häkelnadel (3,0)
Anleitung
1) PomPoms herstellen
Zunächst benötigt man drei PomPoms in unterschiedlichen Größen: Körper (groß), Kopf (mittel), Schwanz (sehr klein). Für den Schwanz (sowie auch später für die Ohren) habe ich eine andere Farbe genommen, um ihn ein wenig vom Rest des Körpers hervorzuheben.
Die Pompoms kann man sehr schnell herstellen, in dem man Wolle um die Finger seiner Hand wickelt. Je mehr Finger man umwickelt, desto größer wird letztendlich die Kugel. Hat man genug Wolle um seine Hand gewickelt, muss diese noch mit einem Stück Faden in der Mitte verknotet werden. Anschließend können die Schlaufen mit einer Schere aufgeschnitten werden. Jetzt sieht der PomPom noch nicht sehr schön aus. Doch je mehr man die Fäden des PomPoms trimmt, desto fester und buschiger wird er werden.
Für den Körper habe ich 4 Finger, den Kopf 3 Finger und den Schwanz 2 Finger verwendet.
2) Ohren häkeln
Da ist keinen festen Filzstoff zu Hause hatte, musste ich mir für die Ohren etwas anderes einfallen lassen. Das Häkeln der Ohren geht wirklich schnell und ist einfach gemacht.
- 6 Luftmaschen häkeln (plus 1 Wendeluftmasche am Ende der Reihe)
- In jede Luftmasche eine feste Masche häkeln, in die sechste Luftmasche zwei feste Maschen häkeln (plus 1 Wendeluftmasche)
- In jede Masche eine feste Masche häkeln, dabei die erste Masche überspringen
3) Zusammensetzen
Da wir nun alle Einzelteile fertiggestellt haben, müssen wir sie nur noch zusammensetzen. Dafür habe ich eine Heißklebepistole verwendet, da der Kleber sehr gut hält.
Damit der Hase am Ende auch aufrecht stehen kann, habe ich einen flachen Stein verwendet, den ich an der Unterseite des Körpers angeklebt habe.
Und fertig ist der PomPom Osterhase. Ich habe bisher noch keine gute Möglichkeit für Augen gefunden. Wackelaugen halten schlecht an der Wolle, daher habe ich bisher noch keine verwendet.
