Pawsome Birthday | Cards und More Shop
Hallo, ihr Lieben! Ich bin zurück mit einer neuen Geburtstagskarte. Die kann ich immer gebrauchen und habe tendenziell zu wenig. Aus diesem Grund finde ich gerade Karten im Clean and Simple-Style für Geburtstage perfekt.
Für diese Karte habe ich mit Maskingtape die Bereiche abgeklebt, die ich nicht mit Distress Ink einfärben wollte. Gleichzeitig bekomme ich dadurch schöne scharfe Kanten. Da ich den süßen Hund aus dem Pawsome Set von Waffle Flower verwenden wollte, den ich vorher bereits in einem rotbraunen Ton koloriert habe, habe ich mich für Scattered Straw entschieden. Der Farbton passt, meiner Meinung nach, sehr gut zum Ton des Hundes.
Mit einem Blending Tool habe ich dann die zwei Streifen eingefärbt, wobei ich versucht habe, den breiteren Streifen nach oben hin etwas heller werden zu lassen. Dann noch mit einer rechteckigen Stanze das Ganze zurecht gestanzt und fertig ist das Hintergrundpanel.
Den Hund wollte ich mittig in den weißen Streifen platzieren, das gibt noch einmal mehr Kontrast zum Fell. Das Stempelset kommt auch mit dem süßen Spruch "hope your birthday was pawsome", den ich über den Hund mit schwarzer Farbe gestempelt habe. Daneben habe ich dann noch jeweils einen Cupcake gestempelt. Ich bin mir nicht ganz sicher, ob es mir nicht ohne besser gefallen hätte - aber gestempelt ist nun mal gestempelt.
Zum Schluss habe ich noch ein paar Pailletten mit Glossy Accents in einem ähnlichen Farbton wie die Distress Ink-Farbe aufgeklebt, um dem Ganzen noch etwas mehr Pfiff zu verleihen.

Happy Birthday (Guest Design for Bastel-Traum.ch)
Hello everyone! Today I have this special card for you that I made as a Guest Designer at the Basteltraum Challenge Blog. And I am super happy to show you this card that I made following the theme "Birthday"!
First, I stamped the little fox by Mama Elephant on mix media paper with Archival Jet Black ink from Ranger and colored him in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens. The sentiment is from My Favorite things, I applied Distress Ink on the stamp, spritzed it with water and stamped it onto white paper to create this nice watercolory look.
I really wanted to create a shaker card (because I am obsessed with shaker cards :D) but this time I wanted to make a see-through shaker. For that reason I first created a frame using two rectangle dies from Avery Elle and also die cut the smaller piece from the card base I was using.
Using the Fuse tool, I created a shaker pocket out of a really sturdy zip-lock bag and filled it up with sequins from Pretty Pink Posh as well as the little fox. Using strong glue, I adhered the shaker pocket in between the white frame and the card base. To finish off the card, I adhered the sentiment to the top and bottom of my card.
