I used the sentiment "you COLOR my world" from lawn fawn. I thought it is perfect for this colorful card! I embossed it on black card stock with violet embossing powder by WOW and adhered it with fun foam on the front panel. Finishing the card, I adhered the panel on black card stock and on a card base.

Heute habe ich meine neuen Stempel von Mama Elephant ausprobiert und ich finde die kleinen Pandabären einfach zu niedlich. Für den Hintergrund habe ich Aquarellpapier und Distress Inks (Spiced Marmelade, Abandoned Coral, Fired Brick) verwendet und mit ein paar Wassertropfen bespritzt.
Auf weißen Karton habe ich mit Memento Tuxedo Black Ink zwei Pandabären und den Ball gestempelt. Der Zylinder stammt von dem Set Three Amigos von Mama Elephant. Für die Pandabären habe ich die Spektrum Noir Marker IG1 und Blender verwendet, für den Ball OR2, OR3, CR7.
Mit Classic Cherry Dye Ink habe ich ein Sentiment von Create A Smile stempelt und den Ball und die beiden Bären mit Foam Tape in die Mitte des Panels geklebt. Das Aquarellpanel wurde abschließend noch auf orangenem Karton befestigt und auf eine Karte geklebt.

Today I used my new stamp set from Mama Elephant and I really like these cute little pandas. For the background I used watercolor cardstock and distress inks (Spiced Marmelade, Abandoned Coral, Fired Brick) and sprinkled it with some water.
On white cardstock, I stamped two of the pandas and the ball with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. The top hat is from the stamp set Three Amigos also from Mama Elephant. I used some Spectrum Noir markers and colored the pandas with IG1 and the blender and used OR2, OR3, and CR7 for the ball. 
Using Classic Cherry Ink, I stamped a sentiment by Create A Smile which means "I like you thiiiiis much". I glued the pandas and the ball in the center of the front panel, adhered the panel onto orange carstock and, finally, on a card base.

Dieses mal eine wirklich einfache und schnelle Karte. Auf weißes Papier habe ich mit Blue Ribbon Dye Ink den Hintergrundstempel von Tim Holtz stempelt und  Classic Cherry Ink habe ich das ein passendes Sentiment, hier "Hello Friend", auf die noch weiße Stelle gestempelt.
Das Frontpanel habe ich mit Moosgummi auf etwas größeren dunkelblauen Karton befestigt und abschließend meine selbstgemachten Enamel Dots verwendet. Die Farben passen wirklich perfekt zu den Stempelfarben.

Today I show you a quick and simple card. On white card stock I stamped the background stamp by Tim Holtz using Blue Ribbon Dye Ink and used a suitable sentiment, here "hello friend", and stamped it with Classic Cherry Ink.
Using fun foam, I adhered the front panel to a larger dark blue panel to give it some dimension. Then, I used some of my DIY enamel dots - the colors match perfectly. 

Heute habe ich mich einmal ans DIY Enamel Dots gewagt. Auf Youtube habe ich viele Videos dazu gefunden und nachdem ich mir endlich Perler Beads bestellt habe (andere deutsche Marken haben überhaupt nicht funktioniert), habe ich es heute in Angriff genommen.
In einer Anleitung hieß es, dass man helle von dunklen Perlen voneinander trennen soll, da die dunkleren angeblich länger brauchen, um zu schmelzen. Ich habe davon nicht viel mitbekommen, nur die schwarzen Perlen brauchen definitiv länger als andere Farben. Alles was man machen muss, ist, die Perlen auf Backpapier zu stellen, sodass die Öffnung nach oben zeigt. Den Backofen auf 125 Grad (ich hatte nur Ober- und Unterhitze) vorheizen und das Blech voller Perlen dann für gute 30 Minuten in en Ofen schieben. Kurz nach dem Backen kann man diese vom Backpapier lösen.
Und fertig sind die Enamel Dots.  Ich muss sagen, dass sie wirklich eine schöne Form (~5-6 mm Durchmesser) haben und die Farben der Perler Beads sind wirklich genial.

Today I wanted to try the DIY Enamel Dots. There are a lot of videos on Youtube and after I ordered some Perler Beads I was ready to try it myself (I tried other German brands but they didn't work). 
One instruction said to separate light from dark colors because dark colors tend to take longer. After I tried it out today, I only noticed the black ones taking longer than the rest. All you have to do is place the beads on parchment paper with the opening facing up. Preheat your oven to 250 °F and bake the beads for 30 minutes. 
And ready are your enamel dots. I have to say that I really like the outcome, they have a nice shape (~5-6mm diameter) and the colors are great!

Dieses mal habe ich eine Karte mit meinem neuem Set von Paper Smooches gemacht. Ich finde die Tierchen so goldig und da sie die perfekte Luftballonform haben, habe ich sie für diese Karte auch zu Luftballons gemacht.
Als erstes habe ich das Küken in die linke obere Ecke mit Memento Tuxedo Black Ink gestempelt. Da diese Karte nur eine Schicht hat, habe ich mir aus Post-it-Tape noch eine Maske erstellt, damit ich auch die Kuh und den Hund hinter das Küken stempeln kann. In die rechte untere Ecke habe ich ein Mädchen von Some Odd Girl gestempelt. Ich fand sie perfekt, da es aussieht, als würde sie etwas (hier die Luftballons) halten. Anschließend habe ich die Ballons (Küken: CT1, CT2, CT3 + OR1, OR2, OR3; Hund: EB7, EB8, GB10; Kuh: IG1, IG2 + FS2, FS3, FS4) und das Mädchen (Haare: TN7, TN8, EB5; Augen: JG2, JG6; Gesicht: FS2, FS3, TN2; Schal: GT2, GT3; Hose: GBR3, IG6; Mantel: CR7, DR2; Schuhe: IG8, IG10, Schwarz) mit Spektrum Noir Markern koloriert. Mit einem schwarzen Gelstift habe ich die Luftballontiere mit der Hand des Mädchens verbunden. 
Abschließend habe ich noch Happy Birthday von Lawn Fawn mit Classic Cherry Dye Ink gestempelt und das weiße Frontpanel auf ein etwas größeres rotes geklebt, welches dann auf einer Karte aufgebracht wurde.

Today I made a card with my new stamp set by Paper Smooches. I really love the critters and because they have the perfect balloon shape I hade to made them into ballons.
Frist, I stamped the chicken with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink in the chicken in the upper left corner. Because this is a one-layer card, I also created a mask for the chicken so I can stamp the cow and dog behind it. In the buttom right corner I stamped a girl by Some Odd Girl. I thought she would be perfect since it looks like she is holding something (here the balloons). Then, I colored the balloons (chicken: CT1, CT2, CT3 + OR1, OR2, OR3; dog: EB7, EB8, GB10; cow: IG1, IG2 + FS2, FS3, FS4) and the girl (hair: TN7, TN8, EB5; eyes: JG2, JG6; face: FS2, FS3, TN2; scarf: GT2, GT3; trousers: GBR3, IG6; coat: CR7, DR2; boots: IG8, IG10, black) with Spectrum Noir markers. Using a black gel pen, I drew strings connecting the balloons with the girl's hand.
Finally, I stamped the Happy Birthday by Lawn Fawn with Classic Cherry Dye Ink and adhered the front panel onto a slightly bigger red one which was, in turn, glued to a card base.

Für die neuste Challenge der Stempelküche, bei der es um das Thema Holz geht, habe ich diese Karte gemacht. Ich wollte schon immer mal eine Spinner Card machen und habe es gleich einmal für diese Gelegenheit ausprobiert.
Als erstes habe ich den Holzhintergrundstempel von My Favorite Things auf weißen Karton mit VersaMark gestempelt und anschließend mit klarem Embossingpulver embosst. Koloriert wurde das Ganze dann mit Hilfe eines Blending Tools und Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink. Anschließend habe ich den Hintergrund auf die Größe 13x13 zugeschnitten und einen Kreis in der Mitte ausgeschnitten. In der ebenfalls quadratische Karte wurde in gleicher Position ein gleich großer Kreis ausgeschnitten.
Separat habe ich mit VersaMark und schwarzem Embossingpulver das Eichhörnchen von Some Odd Girl auf Aquarellpapier gestempelt. Da ich es noch einmal spiegelverkehrt brauchte, habe ich einen Clearstamp in der passenden Größe verwendet und das Eichhörnchen auf die Rückseite gestempelt. Der Untergrundstempel wurde dann wiederrum verwendet, um es spiegelverkehrt auf das Aquarellpapier zu bringen. Anschließend habe ich es mit Aquarellstiften von Faber Castell und Wasser koloriert.
Um die Spinner Card zu erstellen, habe ich beide Eichhörnchen zusammengeklebt und zwischen beide Teile einen Bindfaden angebracht. Dieser wird benötigt, um das Eichhörnchen in der Mitte des Kreises zu halten, wobei es sich dann automatisch dreht. Der Faden wurde zwischen der Kartenbasis und dem Holzhintergrund befestigt.
Auf schwarzem Karton habe ich abschließend das Sentiment "I am nuts about you" (Ich bin verrückt nach dir" mit Versamark und weißem Embossingpulver embosst, mit Fishtail zugeschnitten und mit Foam Tape auf den Holzhintergrund aufgebracht.


I created this card for the newest challenge by Stempelküche with the topic wood. I always wanted to make a spinner card so I just tried it for this one.
First, I stamped a wood background by My Favorite Things on white cardstock using Versamark and embossed it with clear embossing powder. I colored the non-embossed area with my blending tool and Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink. Then, I cut it to roughly 5x5 inches and cut out a circle from the center. I cut out another circle in the same position of the card base. Separately, I stamped the squirrel by Some Odd Girl onto watercolor cardstock using VersaMark and embossed it with black embossing powder. Because I needed another mirrored image of the squirrel, I first stamped it on the backside of another clear stamp and then pressed this one onto the cardstock. I colored both images with watercolor pencils by Faber Castell and water.
To create the spinner card, I glued both images together making sure to adhere a string in-between. The string was then adhered onto the card base and the wood panel was glued on top of it to secure the string.
On black cardstock I embossed the sentiment "I am nuts about you" with white emobssing powder, cut a fish tail in one side and adhered it with foam tape.

Ich habe vor kurzem meine ersten Stempel von Mama Elephant bekommen und musste sie natürlich gleich ausprobieren. Für die kleinen Helden wollte ich eine Großstadt im Hintergrund. Leider hatte ich weder Stempel noch eine Schnittdatei dafür, daher habe ich mir einfach selbst eine erstellt.

Den Großstadthintergrund  habe ich in schwarz und hellgrau mit meinem Plotter ausgeschnitten. Für den vorderen Teil gibt es ebenso ein etwas kleineres weißes (oder gelbes) Teil, das man dahinter kleben kann, um die beleuchteten Fenster zu erzeugen. Für den Himmel hinter der Stadt habe ich dunkelblauen Karton verwendet und einfach ein passendes Quadrat zugeschnitten. Mit VersaMark und goldenem Embossingpulver habe ich kleine Stern gestempelt, um mehr den Eindruck zu geben, dass es Nacht ist. Anschließend habe ich alle Teile zusammengeklebt und auf einer Kartenbasis befestigt.
Danach habe ich mir ein Frontpanel mit drei Quadraten aus weißem Karton zugeschnitten und das Sentiment "You're my favorite superhero" mit VersaMark und goldenem Embossingpulver embosst.
Auf weißen Karton habe ich mit Memento Tuxedo Black Ink zwei Superhelden und den kleinen Hund gestempelt und anschließend mit Spectrum Noir Markern koloriert (Gesicht: FS2, FS3, TN2; Haare: IG4, IG6, IG8 + TN7, TN8, EB5; grüne Kombi: LG5, JG2; rote Kombi: CR7, DR2; gelbe Kombi: CT1, CT2, CT4; Hund: IG1, IG2, IG4, BGR3).
Den Jungen habe ich dann hinter das Panel und vor der Stadt platziert, damit es so aussieht, als würde er vor einem Fenster vorbeifliegen und hereinschauen. Das Panel habe ich mit Foam Tape auf der Großstadt platziert. Abschließend habe ich noch das Mädchen und den Hund in die linke untere Ecke geklebt.



I got my first stamps by Mama Elephant a few days ago and I just had to try them out. I wanted to use a city silhouette for the tiny heroes but I neither had a stamp nor a cutting file for it. So I just made one myself.

I cut out the city in black and ligth grey with my cutting machine. I also created a smaller white (or yellow) part that can be adhered to the front part of the city to create the illuminated windows. For the sky I just cut out a square the right size and embossed tiny stars with gold embossing powder. Then, I glued everything togehter and adhered it to a card base.
Then, I cut out a front panel with three squares from white cardstock and embossed the sentiment "You're my favorite superhero" with gold embossing powder. On white card stock, I stamped two superheros and the little dog and colored them with Spectrum Noir markers (face: FS2, FS3, TN2; hair: IG4, IG6, IG8 + TN7, TN8, EB5; green combi: LG5, JG2; red combi: CR7, DR2; yellow combi: CT1, CT2, CT4; dog: IG1, IG2, IG4, BGR3).
I glued the boy on top of the city and behind the front panel. That way it looks as if he is flying by and looking inside the window. I adhered the front panel with foam tape. Finally, I glued the girl and the little dog in the bottom left corner.
