Vor ein paar Tagen habe ich von Birka einen Brief mit Materialien bekommen, aus denen ich eine Karte machen sollte. Den Inhalt könnt ihr hier sehen.


Und hier könnt ihr nun mein Ergebnis sehen. Ich habe immer noch genug Material für eine zweite Karte, wollte euch aber unbedingt gleich die erste zeigen. Ich habe die Motive mit Spectrum Noir Markern koloriert (Giraffe: CT1, CT3, CT4 + GB8, GB10 + TN7, TN8; Nilpferd: BGR3, IG6, IG8 + CR7, DR2; Blätter: DG2, CG2) und mit meinem Plotter ausgeschnitten.
Für den Hintergrund habe ich Distress Inks verwendet (Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio, Pine Needles). Diese habe ich auf eine Folie gedrückt, mit Wasser bespritzt und anschließend das Aquarellpapier hineingedrückt (Ditschtechnik ahoi!). Anschließend habe ich dieses Panel mit Moosgummi auf einem etwas größerem schwarzen Panel befestigt. Die Blätter wurden an den Ecken fixiert und die Giraffe und das Nilpferd mit Foam Tape auf das Frontpanel geklebt. Zum Glück hat Birka auch Sentiments mitgeschickt. Eines davon habe ich dann in Form einer Sprechblase ausgeschnitten und ebenfalls mit Foam Tape befestigt. Abschließend habe ich noch ein paar von den grünen Sequins befestigt, die mit im Brief waren.


A few days ago I got a letter from Birka with a lot of goodies that I had to make a card from. The first picture shows all of the materials. And here you can see my finished card. I colored the images with Spectrum Noir markers (giraffe: CT1, CT3, CT4 + GB8, GB10 + TN7, TN8; hippo: BGR3, IG6, IG8 + CR7, DR2; leaves: DG2, CG2)
I used Distress Inks for the background (Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio, Pine Needles), pressed them onto a slick surface, and sprayed them with water. Using watercolor cardstock, I then pressed the paper onto the watercolor several times. Then, I adhered this panel with fun foam to a slightly bigger black one. The leaves were attached to the front panel and the giraffe and hippo were adhered with foam tape. Thankfully, Birka also included some sentiments. I used one and cut it out in form of a speech bubble and also adhered it using foam tape. To finish the card, I adhered some of the green sequins that were also included in the letter.

Dieses mal habe ich eine Karte mit meinem neuem Set von Paper Smooches gemacht. Ich finde die Tierchen so goldig und da sie die perfekte Luftballonform haben, habe ich sie für diese Karte auch zu Luftballons gemacht.
Als erstes habe ich das Küken in die linke obere Ecke mit Memento Tuxedo Black Ink gestempelt. Da diese Karte nur eine Schicht hat, habe ich mir aus Post-it-Tape noch eine Maske erstellt, damit ich auch die Kuh und den Hund hinter das Küken stempeln kann. In die rechte untere Ecke habe ich ein Mädchen von Some Odd Girl gestempelt. Ich fand sie perfekt, da es aussieht, als würde sie etwas (hier die Luftballons) halten. Anschließend habe ich die Ballons (Küken: CT1, CT2, CT3 + OR1, OR2, OR3; Hund: EB7, EB8, GB10; Kuh: IG1, IG2 + FS2, FS3, FS4) und das Mädchen (Haare: TN7, TN8, EB5; Augen: JG2, JG6; Gesicht: FS2, FS3, TN2; Schal: GT2, GT3; Hose: GBR3, IG6; Mantel: CR7, DR2; Schuhe: IG8, IG10, Schwarz) mit Spektrum Noir Markern koloriert. Mit einem schwarzen Gelstift habe ich die Luftballontiere mit der Hand des Mädchens verbunden. 
Abschließend habe ich noch Happy Birthday von Lawn Fawn mit Classic Cherry Dye Ink gestempelt und das weiße Frontpanel auf ein etwas größeres rotes geklebt, welches dann auf einer Karte aufgebracht wurde.

Today I made a card with my new stamp set by Paper Smooches. I really love the critters and because they have the perfect balloon shape I hade to made them into ballons.
Frist, I stamped the chicken with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink in the chicken in the upper left corner. Because this is a one-layer card, I also created a mask for the chicken so I can stamp the cow and dog behind it. In the buttom right corner I stamped a girl by Some Odd Girl. I thought she would be perfect since it looks like she is holding something (here the balloons). Then, I colored the balloons (chicken: CT1, CT2, CT3 + OR1, OR2, OR3; dog: EB7, EB8, GB10; cow: IG1, IG2 + FS2, FS3, FS4) and the girl (hair: TN7, TN8, EB5; eyes: JG2, JG6; face: FS2, FS3, TN2; scarf: GT2, GT3; trousers: GBR3, IG6; coat: CR7, DR2; boots: IG8, IG10, black) with Spectrum Noir markers. Using a black gel pen, I drew strings connecting the balloons with the girl's hand.
Finally, I stamped the Happy Birthday by Lawn Fawn with Classic Cherry Dye Ink and adhered the front panel onto a slightly bigger red one which was, in turn, glued to a card base.

Für die neuste Challenge der Stempelküche, bei der es um das Thema Holz geht, habe ich diese Karte gemacht. Ich wollte schon immer mal eine Spinner Card machen und habe es gleich einmal für diese Gelegenheit ausprobiert.
Als erstes habe ich den Holzhintergrundstempel von My Favorite Things auf weißen Karton mit VersaMark gestempelt und anschließend mit klarem Embossingpulver embosst. Koloriert wurde das Ganze dann mit Hilfe eines Blending Tools und Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink. Anschließend habe ich den Hintergrund auf die Größe 13x13 zugeschnitten und einen Kreis in der Mitte ausgeschnitten. In der ebenfalls quadratische Karte wurde in gleicher Position ein gleich großer Kreis ausgeschnitten.
Separat habe ich mit VersaMark und schwarzem Embossingpulver das Eichhörnchen von Some Odd Girl auf Aquarellpapier gestempelt. Da ich es noch einmal spiegelverkehrt brauchte, habe ich einen Clearstamp in der passenden Größe verwendet und das Eichhörnchen auf die Rückseite gestempelt. Der Untergrundstempel wurde dann wiederrum verwendet, um es spiegelverkehrt auf das Aquarellpapier zu bringen. Anschließend habe ich es mit Aquarellstiften von Faber Castell und Wasser koloriert.
Um die Spinner Card zu erstellen, habe ich beide Eichhörnchen zusammengeklebt und zwischen beide Teile einen Bindfaden angebracht. Dieser wird benötigt, um das Eichhörnchen in der Mitte des Kreises zu halten, wobei es sich dann automatisch dreht. Der Faden wurde zwischen der Kartenbasis und dem Holzhintergrund befestigt.
Auf schwarzem Karton habe ich abschließend das Sentiment "I am nuts about you" (Ich bin verrückt nach dir" mit Versamark und weißem Embossingpulver embosst, mit Fishtail zugeschnitten und mit Foam Tape auf den Holzhintergrund aufgebracht.


I created this card for the newest challenge by Stempelküche with the topic wood. I always wanted to make a spinner card so I just tried it for this one.
First, I stamped a wood background by My Favorite Things on white cardstock using Versamark and embossed it with clear embossing powder. I colored the non-embossed area with my blending tool and Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink. Then, I cut it to roughly 5x5 inches and cut out a circle from the center. I cut out another circle in the same position of the card base. Separately, I stamped the squirrel by Some Odd Girl onto watercolor cardstock using VersaMark and embossed it with black embossing powder. Because I needed another mirrored image of the squirrel, I first stamped it on the backside of another clear stamp and then pressed this one onto the cardstock. I colored both images with watercolor pencils by Faber Castell and water.
To create the spinner card, I glued both images together making sure to adhere a string in-between. The string was then adhered onto the card base and the wood panel was glued on top of it to secure the string.
On black cardstock I embossed the sentiment "I am nuts about you" with white emobssing powder, cut a fish tail in one side and adhered it with foam tape.

Dies ist mein hundertster Blogeintrag! Wow, wär hätte gedacht, dass das so schnell gehen kann! Vielleicht bringt es ja Glück, denn dieses Projekt ist ein weiteres für den July Guest Design Call von Create A Smile.

Für diese Karte habe ich eine Schnittdatei von Miss Kate Cuttables zur Hilfe genommen. Aus weißem Karton habe ich dann das Goldfischglas als Fenster ausgeschnitten, ebenso wie die Pflanze aus hell- und dunkelgrünem Karton sowie Kieselsteine aus hell- und dunkelbraunen Karton. Die beiden Fische stammen aus dem Set "Underwaterlove" von Create A Smile und wurden mit Memento Tuxedo Black Ink gestempelt und anschließend mit Spectrum Noir Markern koloriert (OR1, OR2, OR3, CR9, DR5).
Um das Goldfischglas etwas interessanter zu machen, habe ich hinter das weiße Frontpanel ein Stück Vellum geklebt. Für den Hintergrund habe ich ein weiteres Stück Vellum auf weißes Papier geklebt und dieses mit dem Marker IB3 angemalt. Dadurch entstand eine unregelmäßige Struktur, die ich für Wasser im Goldfischglas jedoch sehr nett fand. Darauf habe ich dann sowohl die Pflanze als auch die Fische geklebt. Diese waren dann sozusagen in einem Vellum-Sandwich gefangen.
Auf das weiße Frontpanel habe ich ebenso das Sentiment "I've been on the LOOKOUT for you" mit Blue Ribbon Dye Ink von Ranger stempelt. Der Hintergrund und das Frontpanel wurden anschließend auf etwas größeres dunkelblaues Panel geklebt und dies wiederum auf die Kartenbasis.


This is my 100th blog entry! And I hope it brings me look because this project was again created for the July Guest Design Call by Create A Smile. 

For this card, I used a cutting file by Miss Kate Cuttables. I used the goldfish bowl and cut it out of a white panel and used it as a little window. I also cut out the plant and some pebbles out of light and dark green and brown cardstock. The two fishes are from the stamp set "Underwaterlove" by Create A Smile and were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Spectrum Noir markers (OR1, OR2, OR3, CR9, DR5).
To get the goldfish bowl to look a bit more interesting, I glued some vellum behind the front panel. For the background, I used another bit of vellum glued on to white paper and colored it with IB3. It had a somewhat uneven look to it but it was what I wanted to give the feeling of water in the bowl. I glued the plant and the fishes on top of the background and they where therefore sandwhiched between two vellum pieces. 
On the front panel, I stamped the sentiment "I've been on the LOOKOUT for you" using Blue Ribbon dye ink by Ranger. The background and the front panel were adhered onto a bit larger dark blue card panel and again on the white card base.

Dieses mal habe ich mehrere Karten mit einem ähnlichen Layout erstellt. Der Hintergrundstempel stammt von Kaisercraft und wurde mit VersaMark gestempelt und mit unterschiedlichen Embossingpulvern von WOW embosst (siehe Supplies). Das Sentiment "for someone Special" stammt von The Greeting Farm - Wood Friends. Die weißen Panels habe ich jeweils auf farblich passendes schimmerndes Papier geklebt. Ich werde versuchen zu jeder Karte ein paar Details zu den verwendeten Produkten zu sagen.

Today I made a number of cards with a similar layout. The background stamps is by Kaisercraft and was stamped with VersaMark and embossed using different powders by WOW. The sentiment is by The Greeting Farm - Wood Friends. I adhered the white panels on to shimmering card stock with I will try and give more details about the used products for each card.


Für diese Karte habe ich die beiden Pinguine aus dem Set Cool Buddies von Create A Smile gestempelt und mit Spectrum Noir Markern koloriert (Federn: BGR3, IG6, IG8; Bauch: IG2, IG4; Schnabel: OR1, OR2, OR3). Leider weiß ich nicht mehr woher ich das Papier für das hintere Panel habe und kann leider nichts Vergleichbares finden.

For this card I used the two penugins from the set Cool Buddies by Create A Smile and colored them using Spectrum Noir markers (Feathers: BGR3, IG6, IG8; Belly: IG2, IG4; Beak: OR1, OR2, OR3). Unfortunately, I can't remember where I got the paper for the back panel from and can't seem to find anything that's comparible to it.


Der Fuchs stammt aus dem Set Foxy von Some Odd Girl. Koloriert wurde er wie folgt:
Fell: OR1, OR2, OR3 und IG1 + Blender; Ohren: FS2, FS3; Schwarz; weißer Gelstift.

The fox is from the stamp set Foxy by Some Odd Girl and was colored as follows:
Fur: OR1, OR2, OR3 and IG1 + Blender; Ears: FS2, FS3; Black; white gel pen.
 


Das Rehkitz (Fell: TN7, TN8, EB5; Gesicht: GB8, GB10) stammt aus dem gleichen Set wie das Sentiment. Der Hintergrundstempel wurde zunächst mit durchsichtigem Embossingpulver embosst. Anschließend habe ich mintfarbene Folie verwendet und diese mit Hilfe eines Laminators auf das Panel aufgebracht.

The fawn (fur: TN7, TN8, EB5; face: GB8, GB10) is from the same stamp set as the sentiment. The background stamp was embossed with clear embossing powder first. Then, I used Heidi Swapp reactive foil and a laminator to get it on the white panel. 



Für die letzte Karte habe ich anstatt des Hintergrundstempels die Blattstempel von Nutsy Kaley (Some Odd Girl) verwendet. Ich finde, das Herbstthema passt gut zu dem Rehkitz. Auch hier weiß ich nicht mehr woher ich das Papier für das hintere Panel habe und kann leider nichts Vergleichbares finden.

For the last card is used two leaf stamps instead of the background stamp. I think the autumn theme works really well with the little fawn. Again, I can't remember where I got the paper for the back panel from and can't seem to find anything that's comparible.

Hier ist eine weitere Karte, die mit den Inhalten des Sending Sunshine Kits entstanden ist. Zunächst habe ich den Hummer mit Memento Tuxedo Black Ink auf weißen Karton gestempelt und mit meinem Brother Scan'N'Cut eingescannt, um an die Schnittdatei zu gelangen. Danach habe ich das Panel gegen ein weiteres ausgetauscht und aus diesem die Umrandung des Hummers an der gleichen Stelle ausgeschnitten.
Mit Hilfe meiner Blending Tools habe ich den Hintergrund des oberen Panels mit Salty Ocean und Peacock Feathers Distress Ink eingefärbt und mit Blue Ribbon Dye Ink die Gruppe von Wasserblasen gestempelt. Auf die Rückseite habe ich ein Stück Acetate geklebt und mit Hilfe von Foam Tape den Ausschnitt des Hummers abgegrenzt, damit später die Perlen nicht herausfallen.
Den Hummer habe ich mit Spectrum Noir Markern coloriert (CR10, CR7, DR2). Danach wurde die Shakercard mit Perlen befüllt und das hintere Panel auf das vordere geklebt. Zur weiteren Verzierung habe ich auf weißen Karton das Sentiment "Ich musste gerade an dich denken" mit Classic Cherry Dye Ink gestepelt und auf das vordere Panel geklebt. Schlussendlich habe ich zum ersten mal in meinem Leben Enamel Sticker verwendet. Ich muss sagen, dass mir die Enamel Sticker aus dem Set wirklich gut gefallen!



Here is another card using the Sending Sunshine Kit by Create A Smile. I stamped the little lobster with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto white card stock and, using my Brother Scan'N'Cut, I scanned the image in to get a cutting file fore it. I replaced the panel with another white one and cut out the spape of the lobster in the exact same position. 
I colored the background of the front panel using Distress Inks (Salty Ocean, Peacock Feathers) and stamped the group of water bubbles using Blue Ribbon Dye Ink. I adhered a piece of acetate on the back and used foam tape around the lobster to keep the beads inside. 
I colored the lobster with Spectrum Noir markers (CR10, CR7, DR2). After that, I filled the shakercard with beads and glued the back panel onto the front panel. Additionally, I stamped the sentiment by CAS using Classic Cherry Dye Ink onto white card stock and ahdered it on top of the front panel. Then, I used enamel stickers for the first time ever and I really like the ones by CAS!

Dies ist eine relativ schlichte Karte. Ich habe das Eichhörnchen von Some Odd Girl auf weißen Karton mit Memento Tuxedo Black gestempelt und anschließend mit Spectrum Noir Markern ausgemalt (Fell: TN7, TN8, EB5; IG1, IG2; Eichel: EB7, EB8, GB8, GB10; Mund: CR9, DR5; Ohren: FS2, FS3).
Für den Hintergrund habe ich einen Hintergrundstempel von Tim Holtz verwendet und diesen mit Lemon Twist Dye Ink auf weißen Karton gestempelt. Das Sentiment stammt von Create A Smile, das ich mit Java Bean Dye Ink ungefähr in die Mitte des Panels aufgebracht habe. Das Eichhörnchen habe ich abschließend mit Foam Tape neben das Sentiment geklebt.

I used a background stamp by Tim Holtz and stamped it on white card stock using Lemon Twist Dye Ink. The sentiment is by Create A Smile which I stamped in the center of the panel using Java Bean Dye Ink. The squirrel was glues next to the sentiment using foam tape.
